YES! Texas is pretty good. Those processing time charts are moot, try not to take them into consideration/worry about them too much.
There's a really good app I've been using to track my case called USCIS Case Status or USCIS APP. You can enter your case number and it will alert you whenever you get a status change. You can also choose to receive alerts whenever a case similar to yours gets updated as well. It won't say exactly whose it is but you'll be able to see which country they're from and when they applied/which service center handled their case.
It might take a while until your receipt number gets entered into their system, ours took 2 weeks until we were able to start tracking our case.
⚠️Android only, for iOS don't bother reading this comment
I've been using this one, ended up being reliable: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xiaohui.usciscasechecker
In any case, whatever you use, make sure you allow unrestricted background battery use (it won't use much, without it Android may notice you aren't using the app much, and won't let it go live and do the checks at some point).
The staus on USCIS web site seems to update way more readily and reliably than the USPS mail delivery. Every single letter they have sent to me through my N400 process did show up as status update, with a PDF copy on the documents tabs, about 1.5-2 weeks before the envelope has showed up in my mailbox.
You don't even have to manually check, there are plenty of phone apps that do it for you (i've been using this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xiaohui.usciscasechecker)
This said, mind the COVID and all the unpredictable rules changes. You may end up coming back for your appointment just to discover they won't let you in sooner than 10 days after a plane travel again, so keep your eyes peeled for this stuff.
I've got notification on my N400 from this app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xiaohui.usciscasechecker), apparently, the only thing that has changed is one word in the original receipt notice. The "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was EMAILED" has changed to the "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was SENT". Guess other apps could have been triggered by the same change for everyone.
Sure, here is the playstore link for it:

Should one trust this app? I have no idea, but it did pick up the current state of the case, so i certainly hope so. Make sure you disable battery optimization on it, too.
