There are several good free cellphone apps for knotmaking that don't require internet connection. I have both Useful Knots and Best Knots (which has fewer, but is animated) installed on my Android. I use them surprisingly frequently, as my memory for knots sucks, so I often want reconfirmation.
I like the Zeppelin Bend, but it definitely takes practice to master,

There is an android app 'useful knots' that is pretty useful,

Practice remembering port vs starboard. Also learn the following terms:
- jib / genoa
- jib sheet / main sheet
- sheet in, sheet out/ease
- halyard
- tack
- gybe (also written jib)
- head up/fall off
- galley
- head
- lazarette
- settee
- berth
- boom (that's the sound it makes when it hits your head and you die).

There are no ropes on a boat -- only lines, rode, painters, and other things that are in fact 'ropes' but are called something else. Boaters have a different name for everything.

Those terms should cover about 95% of what you will hear. If nothing else, just learn port vs starboard.

Pretend the edge of the boat is a 1000' cliff and if you fall off you die. Always have at least one hand on the boat when you are moving about. Especially indoors where you can't see that a big wave is about to throw you across the boat causing a brain concussion or broken ribs.

Learn how to tie:
- bowline
- cleat hitch

And for extra fun:
- clove hitch
- round and a half with two half hitches
- highwayman's hitch
- zeppelin bend
This is a good knot site: https://www.animatedknots.com/knotlist.php

If the tip of the mast is not in the water, then you are not even close to rolling over. It's very difficult to roll a keel boat. A 30° tilt is scary at first, but you generally need a > 90° tilt *plus* an big wave to roll you over.

If it didn't come out of your body, it doesn't go in the head (toilet). That includes toilet paper - you throw used toilet paper in the trash. If you try to flush it you will clog the head and then nobody will be able to use it the rest of the trip.

Use a floppy duffle bag. There is no place to put a roller bag on a boat. Boats have a lot of storage but it is oddly shaped.

The best diving is in Maria La Gorda.
And don't forget to take gifts for the Cuban people. Useful things like pencils, bandaids, etc.

This app is pretty handy.

There are apps that give you knotting basic. Eg https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neptuns.usefulknots
Apps I don't use often but that come in handy when I need them :
Useful Knots (When you need to tie something to your car but can never remember a good knot)
ConvertPad (I use metric and these imperial measurements always kill me. Also you can create your own conversions. I started a volume to weight conversion table for common food items. So I know 1 cup of flour is exactly 125 grams)
Cool Reader (I tried many but this is really the best ebook reader I've found for android)
They all look a bit shady but they have the best features and a minimum of bloatware.
If you have an android phone, there is a knot tying app in the playstore.
