Seems like in the last couple years or so there's be A LOT of investment into mobile games. The polish and tech on some are beyond expectations. I mean, last year KR blew me away when I first saw it. This year two standouts for me seem to Girls Frontline and Honkai. Yet, there seems to be a lot of new titles that are using much better tech.

That said, some companies are still pushing out PS2 level graphics like Valkyrie Connect.

and VC looks like it has a dwindling playerbase because of the p2w aspects they added as well. mentioned this in the OP, the "Battlefront effect" but otherwise i went through the reviews of VC (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.atm.vcon.ww&hl=en_US&showAllReviews=true) and there's a lot of argument back and forth on pay to win aspect of the game as well.

also, if your kid is spending the parents money on the phone, thats a parenting problem. If thats the kids own hard earned money, he can spend it on what he wants.

What do you mean you saw the English came out? There is an English version?
