I leave mine unattended all the time, before it fried on me. The only problem I had is the plug that goes from the power supply to the board fried on me. If you have an old cellphone laying around, you can create a Webcam to monitor it. Also, you can get a plug that can shut off the power if you see any issues. If your on android, the links below is what I use. I ended up getting Octoprint to monitor the printer, but the camera app below works very nicely. There's an app for that Neo device I bought, haven't had any issues from it.
Camera app.

EDIT: I think the point of enclosers is to keep the temp around the print higher and prevent any outside airflow from affecting the print. Haven't built an encloser yet.
If you don't mind a service running on your laptop, check out ivideon. It's free for home use, and they also have a mobile app to view your webcam, along with features like record and notify on movement, sound etc.

Try the android app Ivideon. If I remember correctly it can give you a shareable URL to your camera feed - embed that bad boy in an iframe and you're good to go (probably). Let me know if it works!
