VideoShow has been my go-to for the past 6 months.
I even paid for the Pro version so I could export at 1080p.
It's got all of the features you get with Apple's iMovie, and more.
IMO Best video editor for Android currently is VideoShow(link to the free version- Pro version has more features and full hd resolution support).
Google Photos is a good "lite" video editor and collage creator, even creating event montages automatically via its "Auto Awesome" feature.
I produce a lot of videos on my devices, so VideoShow is my choice. It's the best Apple iMovie counterpart on Android, and even has several features not available in Apple's iMovie.
