Simple joke images, screenshots, or copy and paste edits in other words? I'm familiar with how the latter can take more work than it looks, but I'm still leaning towards them being too simple sometimes. Depends on the quality of the editing, I guess - if it looks like an actual copy and paste, it shouldn't be allowed, but if it looks like the creator made an effort to blend it in, I think it should be allowed.

I think as long as we keep strong, CONSISTENT application of the rules, we can have a NSFW tag without having it degenerate into sexual anarchy.

There are actually a lot of free open-source professional drawing programs out there, you just have to look for it. I would recommend you go check out Krita, which is a pretty neat program.

There is no place for a legit, traditional love triangle in this series involving these three, as the age gap between Marco and Eclipsa is too high for the show to support. Even in a fanfiction, it would be strange unless there were well fleshed out reasons for Marco and Eclipsa to be involved with one another.

I would say that no such thing is possible, but, as /u/iLoppio33 already mentioned, The Hidden Truth does this and works around the issues I have mentioned regarding said love triangle.

A relationship between Marco and Eclipsa would be manipulative in nature from the word go, as Marco is very much into people his age (I don't count his relationship with Hekapoo at all in this regard. It doesn't convince me) and is, also, very much afraid of and not interested in Eclipsa.

Therefore what it takes for any sort of 'Marclipsa' to happen is Marco basically being brainwashed or deceived in some manner, creating a very one-sided or fake two-sided relationship that is on borrowed time.

If you want to see a Starco-centric fic that plays with this idea of Marclipsa, The Hidden Truth is the best example you're going to get. It just tackles a fair bit more than Starco, and it is willing to go a fair bit darker than the show ever could. I highly recommend giving it a ready if you haven't already checked it out by now.

God English is so fucking complicated. Look at this shit! I spoke English for 25 fucking years before I learned about this! I was using a rule that is both complicated and arbitrary correctly and had no idea it was a thing!

Anyway, true, magic is very mysterious. When Marco used the wand for the first time in Deep Dive, he got his crescent moon cheek emblems. Festivia, despite not being of royal lineage, eventually developed hers by the time she was an adult. It seems having a strong connection to magic is the only prerequisite - those descended from those with such a connection have them naturally.

As for Glossaryck, who knows? The second official book, the Book of Spells, references that Glossaryck was 'called into being' at some time in the past. Beyond that, Glossaryck's as cryptic as ever, so. Just generally, though, I've wondered if magic is something that's not meant to be understood - by its users or us, in the real world. It's so complex, almost above what we could possibly comprehend. We can try to rationalize, but that's as far as we'll get.

With the end of magic, to me it confirms that the only 'magic' that was removed was that which was used by the Butterfly family. Those who are naturally mystical (Pony Heads, Dragoncycles, Demons like Tom etc.) are just that - they developed that power on their own, separate from the Realm of Magic. The Butterfly family was merely borrowing their power, and have now given it back.

And as for 'are Mewmans really Humans?' it certainly seems that way. We can't be absolutely sure, but they're too close for it to be just a coincidence.

If fanfic is your thing, I recently finished my five parter epic end-of-season-2 continuation series, Starknight Chronicles. It's about the length of two novels, so it should give two days of relief.

Anyway, also in response to u/gemcomp, I think there is enough lore that the show could have gone on for 10 seasons. Of course I would love more stories, backstories and adventures, but I'm content with the story as is.

I also recently started to draw again after many years, inspired by watching Drawfee and feeling restless and isolated during covid. I'm envious of experienced artists like them who can bang out a great looking sketch in 10 minutes... it takes me a long time to make something I'm mostly happy with.

What program do you draw with? I just discovered Krita a few weeks ago, and not only is it free I think it's actually better than my ancient version of Photoshop (for drawing at least, Photoshop is better for image manipulation.) It works well with my cheapo drawing tablet and helps me manage separate layers for the sketch, ink lines, colors, and shadows/highlights.

I prefer logic and reason to emotional arguments.

Which is ironic because I've openly stated that I love love in all forms, even Tomstar (when beneficial). 😉

I'm gonna start at Sophomore Slump: Marco missed Star but just assumed it was just friendship, but Jackie knew, mostly how he talked about Star and how he was like with her, so she broke up with him. So Marco goes to Mewni, becomes Squire, and just enjoys spending time with Star. Flash forward to Lava Lake Beach, Marco is bummed because he thinks its about his break up with Jackie, but in his efforts to comfort Kelly, he talks to Tad, and he gets the realization that the only reason Marco stays on Mewni is because of his crush on Star, so he goes to talk to her about it, but she's kissing Tom, and Marco's heart breaks, realizing Tad was right. Fast Forward again to Booth Buddies, Marco doesn't want to go into booth with Star because of his feelings, but he tries to put on a happy face for her, then Ben comes up and locks them up, telling them that the booth will only open if they are honest, they try a few more photos, but when it doesn't work, they have a heart to heart, and Marco confesses that his feelings for Star have changed since Starcrushed, so in the final effort to get them out of booth, Marco kisses Star to show how he feels, tho he later blames the booth, then Ben tells them that the booth ain't magical at all, he just thought the needed a smooch. So basically, (SORRY ITS SO LONG!!) Marco didn't know his feelings till Lava Lake Beach, yet then felt forced to act on them in Booth Buddies. But like all art, its subjective, so you or anyone else may look it the events differently than I do. AGAIN SORRY FOR HOW LONG THIS IS!

Well, Phoebe is tiny, and its escape velocity is 360 km/h - 220 miles an hour - easy enough for cryovolcanism or whatever to eject some material and it to dust down. Phoebe makes a very faint outer dust ring (not visible with small telescopes) around Saturn - the Phoebe Ring. But people like the tarry stuff from evaoprating ice hypothesis more.

Nice, just looked mine up and it is this one, it is kinda old (and unavailable from here at least) and it is by all means not the best one but it gets the job done and I have never had a problem with it. But I did get it as a gift so I didn't pick it out especially for being a really good one or anything and I'm guessing that they have gotten better with time so I can't really help with tablet advice but I'm sure general reviews and things can help. As for software, I use Photoshop and Illustrator (totally legally).

I'm considering getting one for my friend's birthday coming up but my knowledge in this field is precisely zero. She's incredibly talented on paper but has never worked with tablets before. For a while I've had my sights set on this one (apologies for lazy Amazon link) and from what I've researched into it it seems like a great tablet, but there always seems to be a catch, especially with such a seemingly low price. Is this a good one to get for someone who has no digital experience, and if not, could you point me in a better direction? If not, it's fine. Thanks
