What is Reddit's opinion of Visual Novel Reader?

I couldn't purchase VNDS on the play store when I tried last year, it kept rejecting my payment. not sure if that issue is still present but if it is you could try using visual novel reader which is basically the same program except you can actually buy it on google play.

I've been trying to get Visual Novel Reader ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=moskvil.johannes.visualnovelinterpreter&hl=en ) to notice I have a bunch of novels on my SD card. It notices them just fine in my main storage, but there's not much storage space there so I really need it in the SD card.

I tried to enter the directory in the "Enter Visual Novels Directory" box, but it didn't seem to notice. There's no button to tell it to start looking in the directory you put in there, hitting enter just enters a new line in the text box. Anyone know what to do here?

Oh and for some reason nobody can buy the vnds app right now. Some sort of payment error. Try using this app instead. I think it should work the same as vnds.
