XiiaLive lets you add your own URLs to the favorites (there's an "add url" button at the bottom of the fav list), and you can use next/prev to switch between favorites. It's pretty nice, you can add multiple URLs per favorite, it reads the stream name automatically and shows the currently playing song in notification and on the lockscreen. It also has scrobbling (but requires Last.FM app to be running for that).
Thanks for Bear Metal btw. :)
I think the answer from /u/unguardedsnow may be correct. My solution was to use XiiaLive as a music alarm clock. I love it because you can have it slowly increase the volume over a long period of time until it wakes you up. Iirc it can be as long as 15 minutes. I use the Pro version but I think the free version has the alarm clock as well. It's a great app for internet radio as well.
Xiialive is the best there is. Been using this app for over 5 years now and it's still being updated on a regular basis. Shows you how dedicated the dev is.
Shoutcast with anything that will play streaming music, even their own HTML5 based player.
I use XiiaLive.
