Ooooh the hexagonal grid looks neat.
Another really good roguelike is Yet Another Pixel Dungeon, which is probably the best fork of the open source Pixel Dungeon.

The best is 'yet another pixel dungeon'. It's update often really active dev and the game is really unique compared to the others.

Since you think your PC is dead anyway, try installing Ubuntu Linux and tell us what happens?
Also, best game on the play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.consideredhamster.yetanotherpixeldungeon&hl=en_US
It's a rougelike with plenty of quality of life features. No Ads, no microtransactions.
Definitely try POWDER if you're okay with side-loading (since it's not on the Play store). The Android build isn't in the download page for some reason, but you can find it by scrolling down in the news section, or just following this direct link to the APK (it's labeled as 'Beta 3', but is pretty much flawless). Its controls might take some getting used to, since it has cardinal-only movement (no diagonals), but it's a very well-designed game and more complex than Pixel Dungeon (especially in its enemy variety). It was mostly inspired by NetHack, actually, but since things are very clearly defined and the game doesn't really rely on any wiki knowledge, it ends up feeling more like a fat-free DCSS to me. It has smaller floors than DCSS with a denser enemy spawn rate, and no auto-explore as it's simply not needed. There's also no race selection (you're always human), but the religion system is really just a thinly-veiled flexible class system and is quite good. It's definitely a simpler game than the full-scale PC roguelikes, but it's probably the best mobile one I've found.
Since you mention being familiar with Pixel Dungeon, you may want to give the variant called Yet Another Pixel Dungeon a look; it has a lot more content and is also much harder than vanilla PD. Or, if difficulty isn't your thing, I'd recommend Shattered Pixel Dungeon, which tried to keep with the general theme and difficulty level of the vanilla game while adding a lot more interesting and varied item selection (and a few new monsters, iirc, but they're still pretty samey)...
Ananias is a fairly odd one, especially in the way it handles movement compared to the more pc-style traditional games, but its interface was designed from the ground up specifically for touch and/or mouse control, and it's pretty deep for a mobile title (though, still, not at the level of ToME, DCSS, ADOM, etc)... It has enough interesting replayability and jump-in-and-die-alot gameplay that I've actually installed it on my PC as well and routinely come back to it.
And lastly, there's Pathos, which set out to basically be a mobile 'clone' of NetHack but with an interface and control scheme designed from scratch for a mobile audience... And they did a really good job of it! As such, it's about as deep as NetHack but also just as unforgiving (though if you've played the actual NetHack, most of that knowledge carries over since Pathos literally aimed to copy it).
EDIT: Forgot to mention, DCSS also has both an online-only WebTiles version and an offline ASCII version available on the Play store. While the controls aren't perfect for either of them (there's always a bit of clunkiness involved when you try to shoehorn touch controls into a normally keyboard-controlled PC game), they do a fairly good job of just getting out of the way and letting you actually play the game... ;P
EDIT2: You might also find some decent answers from this recent post. Like you, the guy who posted that question thought Pixel Dungeon was too shallow and wanted something deeper...
I've been enjoying YAPD quite a bit. Adds a hunger meter for a bit of extra peril..

Yet Another Pixel Dungeon
The game is still great, so might be worth trying. These 2 variants can be a bit easier:

EDIT: A couple other games I really enjoyed that isn't quite like what you described but can be close (are still roguelikes):
