why don't you just use bitsquare.io (decentralized P2P exchange) and get the job done?

Or just tell to your husband to work for bitcoins.
I live on BTC and I have in my small town a grocery store run by a pakistani. He accept my BTC and he send them to his family in pakistan. Your husband should do the same.
Sorry is wrong said "send them", he even don't have to send the bitcoins if he share the keys of the same wallet with his family...
