I've tried Zombieville 2 via coop (it connects by IP and does not require both players to be on LAN). It's decently good, but it does get boring quite quickly. Replayability is quite poor because you'll quickly amass all the weapons and all the stages are similar. Once me and my friend were maxed, there wasn't really any point to replaying.
Spaceteam is the one that's always recommended but to be honest, it's only fun once in a while and it only works if you're all in the same room. Apparently the dev is working on a rebuild, so many it'll become more interesting.
Gensoid and SNESoid. These ones are no longer avail. on the play store but you can find them around the internet. I've managed to get Gensoid working on LAN with my friend playing Streets of Rage 2. It can be laggy at some moments, but it doesn't seem to ruin the playability factor. I've not tried SNESoid, but overall I think this is a really fun experience if you get the right games. However, it only works on LAN or Bluetooth (does anybody know of a working SNES or Sega Genesis emulator that has netplay?)
Apparently ePSXe now has local netplay, but I've not tested it.
It's a real shame that there does not seem to be a working SNES netplay that works if you're both on different networks. It would be incredibly fun.
Link Yeah! I found it on the Play Store. I'm just wondering HOW would we make it UNIQUE, you know?
