Amazon has a ton of choices. Here's what I bought last: this
In Arizona, we would use these after cross country runs in the desert: https://www.amazon.com/Frogg-Toggs-Chilly-Cooling-Towel/dp/B06XQBRD29
PS - I've got your package all ready to mail (with a few more tips on how to survive the heat) but.... I didn't make it to the post office today. So Tuesday!
Straight from WebMD: "According to this "multicriteria decision analysis approach," alcohol is almost three times as harmful as cocaine or tobacco."
The data is here, if you're specifically looking for the keyword "addiction," there is an article on pubmd on that study but I can't access the body of the article so I didn't post it. If I have time later, I'll dig further for it.
Edit: By the way, did you know that you can't die from opiate withdrawals? Guess what drug you can die from if you withdraw? Alcohol.
Thank you! I love this group. I helps remind me I'm not alone. My libido overall is good. I noticed an increase with DHEA. This is the "tea" I drink. Usually 1 per work day, increase with stress. It's not like caffeine which has an immediate impact. I take it hoping that it improves my immune system and maybe make a bad day better.
I agree there could be a lot of causes, so do evaluate new clothes, weather, etc, but acne is listed on the side effects of hydcorcortisone. How old are you? My husband's had worse back acne now that he's on oral steroids for Addison's, even when he was on a typical replacement dose of steroids, and now he's on a higher dose. I think typical advice still follows, in that you would want to get out of sweaty clothes fast, shower frequently, maybe use a acne focused body wash, etc. However, if it gets really bad, do reach out to your doctor or a dermatologist. Have you recently increased your dose? How long have you been diagnosed?
So sorry for the delay! I have been traveling and didn’t have time to sit down to compose something longer.
So glad to give you some hope, and it seems like there are a lot of similarities! Did you find out anything new in the interim?
FYI my heartburn is 100% under control, not a single incidence. Tums/Pepsid was a disaster. I used these with better effect, recommended by my functional medicine doc. They are available (cheaper) at Whole Foods, really worked for me without destroying my digestion further.

I am drinking way more milk than was my custom, but I’ve also been walking more, so weight has stayed stable. I’ll experiment with pill capsules once I get back just to try to see if I can find a way to not drink half a glass of milk or yogurt or eat every single time!
Hello! I’m recently diagnosed too, and this group has been quite helpful. I don’t live in the uk, but they have an excellent support group on Instagram and they published a really good book that you can get from Amazon and is helpful:living with Addison’s disease
As as a side note, do take this seriously and go to the ER if you are feeling really ill. My husband was so sick for months and it took multiple ER visits until the right admitting doctor ordered the tests. In clinic doctors weren't too helpful. One PCP literally saw his low sodium and told him to eat more salt. Addison's is life threatening when someone goes into adrenal crisis (low BP and feeling faint is the top symptom but nausea/vomiting is huge for my husband). Even if it's something else, it could also be life threatening. Reach out to friends or family to go with you and help advocate to insist doctors keep running tests. The test they're referring to is called the ACTH stim test.
I have one similar to this product that I got from Amazon. It will fit any watch band so I put it on my Apple Watch. Works great and I never forget it. It is comfortable too!

Not a guy but I have pan hypoitutitarism and had no DHEA or testosterone detective.
I have been on integrative therapeutics 50 mg for over a year and my testosterone came back normal for tge first time ever.
That brand can also be ordered through the professionalsupplimentscenter And is considered a top.brand. thorne might make one too.
DHEA is a Homone and a testosterone precursor. I don't recommend taking it without talking to your endo.
