Looks ok to me, but as a measure of insurance, maybe put an insulating layer on the bottom side of the bag. Maybe a piece of this stuff.

I have only seen bags get melted/burned once and it was not pretty, but that was the end of a 600 mile day in 100+f temps so it had LOTS of time to get hot.

I didn't like the givi or Puig and ended up buying a National Cycle brand V-Stream. I think mine is like 18", they have different sizes so your results may vary. (I'm 6'1)
