It is interesting that the show portrays Billy as SUCH an unlikable character because in the literary Anna-verse Billy Andrews actually plays a very interesting part... Anne of the Island, chapter VIII.
Disney+ is a brand new streaming service that just launched. It's just like Netflix only it costs less. It costs $7 dollars so maybe your mom will say it's okay to get?

If you read the first novel, see if you can get yourself the annotated copy. I love it! That’s the version I own. It’s the most informative and the cover is beautiful.
