NIPPIES Women's Adhesive Nippies Skin Covers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PU9A9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QHPJA8CG9E1GY65546KR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I recommend these to everyone —simply amazing to say the least. I’ve only had one top that these showed through slightly, but even then, you couldn’t really tell unless you were fixated on my boobs lol. If you know what the Sunday Best best-selling tops feel like (Bliss, Honor, Skyfall), these are even good for those.
They definitely will shrink a little by washing/drying, but they stretch out again when wearing them :/ I bought these buttons from Amazon which are amazing for Levi 501s because they are always too big in the waist for me! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RS37VBD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_SPZ3XXMASF9A3JAWTQW5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
If you are on a computer, you can edit the post and adding an image should be the second icon from the right on the tool bar above the text box. There are other ways too, like with https://imgbb.com/ that gives you a link you can comment/edit into your post so we can see the pictures
The skyfall tank is a racer back cut but it also has thinner straps at the top so it’s not very bra friendly and I wouldn’t recommend that style if you’re looking to wear a bra. I would either go braless or wear a strapless sticky bra ( Niidor Adhesive Bra Strapless... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075V4JSWR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share ). If you’re looking for a long tank top that you can wear some kind of bra with I think the Sunday Best Honor tank and Carey tank look great and they come in a long cut!
You can't avoid it unfortunately. I'd invest in one of the more expensive lint shavers as they last longer than the cheap ones.
It’s these but I got them on sale earlier this year. You might be able to find them secondhand! They’re pretty comfy and come up to cover my whole knee
I just wear nipple covers! I have these ones and they are great https://www.amazon.ca/VOCH-GALA-Silicone-Reusable-Essentials/dp/B09LM6BNSG/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1VRHZ48EDRJO&keywords=nipple+covers&qid=1667340824&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1LjAzIiwicXNhIjoiNC44MCIsInFzcCI6IjQuNjAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=nipple+covers...
I wear these ! They’re pricy for sure but they are the only ones I have tried that are completely invisible under clothes, and mine have lasted me over a year now and still going strong.
Nude knee high pantyhose socks, or, if I'm wearing long pants that cover my ankles, key socks.
Fyi, these are key socks (sometimes called keyhole socks) https://www.amazon.com/KEYSOCKS-ORIGINAL-No-Show-Phenomenon-Standard/dp/B0183QDBPI
U could also buy "garment extenders" like this one from amazon (linked for example, i wpuldnt recommend getting that specific one due to low reviews) or make them yourself. I saw on etsy someone is selling a 4 pack for $16!
I just bought them a few weeks ago and second the recommendation. here’s the link! https://www.amazon.ca/Hue-Womens-Mini-6-Pack-White/dp/B00A9MQD8C/ref=asc_df_B00A9MQD8C/?tag=googlemobshop-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312976127908&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=18031559070015025822&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1002332&hvtargid=pla-568150028553&psc=1
Petal-shaped disposable nipple covers (tape) from amazon or aliexpress works pretty well for me. They are thin and very low profile. If you press down the nipples before taping, they are very invisible (more than the silicone pasties).
I have them. Mine are loose fit. The style number I have on my tag is the same that's listed here on Revolve, under "Manufacturer Style No":
https://www.revolve.com/mobile/agolde-90s-high-rise-loose-fit/dp/AGOL-WJ149/
I have the Rebecca that I also bought at the same time. I will say it’s one of my easiest wool pieces to wash, since it’s only about 55% wool and the rest cotton. I’ve washed it like three times so far and there’s been no shrinkage or damage.
I use soak. It’s a hand washing detergent for delicates. Bonus is it’s no rinse so you avoid the kind of motions and handling that ruin wool sweaters when washing. Honestly don’t know what I did before I discovered it.
Steps:
It really is that easy I swear! You spend like a minute of actual active time mostly just gently squeezing the water out.
Absolutely!! I use these bad boys! They are very simple, and yes, it is some work to take off the pills if there is a lot, but I find them pretty gentle and I’m not ruining the fabric using them taking off the pills. The issue with the shaver is that they cut the fibres (eventually or if you press too hard), the comb pulls the pills away from the fabric like you would with your fingers.
I use a hand-held steamer. I have a full sized one and a travel one. I personally think you could get away with only owning the latter. I've used this on several fabrics without issue, but I have not tried it on faux leather (don't own any) or real leather. I would test a small section on low at a distance in case the steam melts it up close.
DO NOT use this oxiclean stain spray on GD items, it will lift the colour even more and you'll get splotches
Omg my son was a DISASTER with home learning and got dry erase markers and sharpie and I had the best luck with this natural one and a brush
I agree with the other poster that these types of knits are easier to snag. That being said, an item should never come brand new with snags. That’s ridiculous for the price. Especially if coming from a warehouse, I can understand a store where customers try things on wearing jewelry and what not. But even then, I would still ask for an undamaged one. When I have accidentally snagged things in the past, I use a tool like this to fix it. You pull the snag through to the back to hide it, and leave it alone. Don’t pull or play with if. If it’s really long you may need to tie and know and trim the excess.
I haven’t had any problems personally, but a cedar spray apparently is very effective! I have it and I just like it because it smells so nice. Here’s the one I use!
All cashmere pills, it’s a symptom of wearing it a lot. You can get sweater stones or combs to shave off the excess fabric.
I currently use this one, though it was $40 when I bought it rather than $60. I used to have a cheap $15 shaver but it gradually got less effective over time and left snags and holes. The more expensive one is still going strong after 3 years and hasn't caused a snag or hole yet.
I use this one
Works great for all my Aritzia items that need to be shaved down. I would be careful with the settings though, I’ve had friends who use diff brands or similar ones but would shave down their Aritzia sweaters aggressively at high settings which cause rips and holes!
If you don’t like things being too tight on your wrists, I would opt for the larger size personally! I find after washing the ribbed cuffs have shrunk down slightly (just because of their knit not because the garment has actually shrunk). E.g. I could probably get away with an XS, but prefer the S because I can’t stand the feeling of tight fabric on my wrists. Measurements are 33-26-36 for reference.
I hand wash the sweater in cold water with Soak wool wash or the cashmere and wool soap for Laundress (though Woolite works as well). I then lay it flat to dry on a flat sweater rack like this. Then slight reshape and let the air do its work!
To be honest it is one of my favourite sweaters as it looks cute thrown on with some jeans but also polished with something like dress pants for work. And - it keeps your neck cozy when it’s cold without being too tight as well!
Shrinkage depends highly on how you wash it! Only my first Montpellier shrunk and I learned quickly after that.
I fill the bath with cold water first and use special soap meant for wools and delicates. Then I insert the sweaters and let soak for 15-20 minutes. I do not agitate the water at all. I have washed about 10 sweaters like this and have had good results.
If you wanted to shrink it, you could agitate the water a little bit. Hope that helps.
I debated buying one of these, finally got my hands on it a month ago.. honestly I prefer the Amazon version because it has an adjustable nose piece and removable filters if needed
