If you’re new, read this book. You aren’t buying equities from a company, but from other individuals or institutions who hold the equities. The brokerage is just there to help arrange the sale (it’s more complex than this). The market decides the price of the ETF, not your brokerage.
I don't know why you correlate USDC's dominance to a crypto fear/greed index? Its no surprise its dominance is rising compared to USDT. There's crypto fear/greed gauges out there, but USDC's dominance isn't relevant as far as I know? Did you paste the wrong chart? The chart you should use is from: https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/ which actually does have some correlation with ARKK, but probably only because crypto is correlated with tech in general.
You're on the wrong post then my frend. This is a Teladoc taking over ARKK post. If you look at the charts they are not the same, nor are they similar buinesses. But if you don't care for TDOC you are on the wrong post. Not shitty UI by the way according to customers. They just don't like the wait which is a function of massive demand and scaling pains.
Other comments have it pretty well explained but wanted to mention Jeff Booth’s book which does a pretty good job at explaining technological deflation.

This book is a great place to gather some knowledge. It’s an easy read and an easy argument to follow (hint: some fund managers may beat the market from time to time, but almost none have beat the market long term):
Betterment also offers a “safety net” feature if you really want to invest savings. It’s a very conservative fund but it so conservative because the market can be so volatile. The savings is likely better off here, or in a high interest savings account if you might need it in 2 years.
