Happy to help! I assume you know their name? If you do, you can have a look at the church records. They will have all standard information about parish members: birth, marriage, emigration date, death (for those who didn't move, like parents/siblings) etc. It's a great resource for those of us who are interested in genealogy :)
You could always try Duolingo. It gives you a good basic knowledge. Supplement it with additional resources and you should be well on your way to learn the language.
There are four books by Vilhelm Moberg written in 1950 that follows the life of your ancestors from their harsh life in Sweden to their new life in America. I think you would like reading it. It will probably be quite interesting since it's part of your history.
