Odd folk there, but they might know.
Also, this book is really a good biography of Jack Parsons.
Not a true story but a collection of stories, I read Ghosts of the Bridgewater Triangle by Christopher Balzano. I'm from Massachusetts so I found the book pretty interesting, considering I had some awareness of the places and events discussed in the book. Overall it's got a bit of everything, covering ghosts, haunted locations, cryptids, and other high strangeness in southeastern Mass. It's mostly witness accounts that Balzano compiled into a book with his own analysis, so it's definitely in the "if you believe any of this at all" category: you either believe the witnesses or you don't, without much context to go by.
Overall, though, I enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a New England spin on high strangeness.
this is a great book for those interested in the creepy side of christmas

also the “lawson family murders” took place in christmas day and would make for a really chilling episode
