I ordered these from Amazon and they lasted me my entire pregnancy last time. I just had them under my bump and wore a long tank top under my top since I did a lot of bending. I also worked at an animal hospital and can say they withstood quite a bit without tearing or fading.

I’m not sure how to prepare the cat for sleeping arrangements. My initial thought is to get the bassinet early so you can establish boundaries with the cat. We won’t be able to shut our cat out of the room because she creates such a ruckus if you do. She’d scratch at the door and cry until you let her in. Between her and a baby we’d never sleep! Lol. I searched for “bassinet with canopy” on amazon and these are the two I’m looking at. I just need to run them by my husband to see which one he likes.

I think I like the Delta one more because the canopy can be folded down on one side or both sides. The Infans looks like it’s a cover that slips over the top.
I ordered these muslin swaddles off of Amazon. Love the prints and the beautiful green color! This will probably be it for a while. Since I'm telling my immediate family at Thanksgiving, I'm hoping I can go through some hand-me-down things with my mom and sister. Pretty sure the family crib and a LOT of other things have been saved.
I got mine on Amazon: Langsprit reusable pads
Size small seems to be most appropriate for daily use, I've got two sets and they last me as long as it takes for me to do laundry 😂 I just store them in my underwear drawer and they're ready when I'm getting dressed in the morning.
Motherhood Maternity! Link
I did an Amazon prime wardrobe order and these were my favorites. I tried on some other Motherhood Maternity pants but these were by far my favorite.
Following up on the shampoo! So my head is no longer itchy and my hair is very soft. I definitely recommend it.
I found it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0099EHM86/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I know nothing about children and childhood development so I'm just going to start with a few textbooks to see what science is out there??? Then, once I have built a solid foundation of facts, I can then explore parenting philosophies??? Maybe??? And then once the baby is here I assume this all goes out the window???
There are not enough question marks to properly covey just how much I don't know and how unsure I am.
Here is the text I am renting from Amazon:

I devoured this website from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Also the short articles are good for my husband who doesn't enjoy reading/research as much as I do when I'm obessing about a topic??? So i just was sending him links I think he would benefit from which is a good compromise as I honestly don't see him picking up a parenting book???

If any of you have master degrees in early childhood development send me your recommendationssssss
I am taking omega-3 pills that are supposedly half the size of the standard ones. They still contain 300 mg per pill, which is the daily recommended amount, but they're not horse pills. More like advil liqui-gel size. I got them on amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Webber-Naturals-Easy-Swallow-Omega-3-220-Count/dp/B00L3WRXWC
I also tried some of the gummy versions but you have to eat like 5 of them per day and as I advanced in the pregnancy I found I noticed the fishy aftertaste more and more.
I don’t have recommendations for a monitor, I’m currently looking for one myself. But I’m pretty happy with the Graco crib mattress we purchased. I got it on amazon, it came rolled up so you need to let it unroll and “inflate” for 2 days before use.

Okay I know this topic has been discussed to death, but has anyone found maternity leggings/PJ pants they love? I never really spent the money on any my first time around, except for some really thin ones from Motherhood Maternity. This time I'd like some warmer, comfy ones but I'm having a hard time finding anything that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I bought these ones on Amazon and ended up returning them because they were so awful. Like, so tight I could hardly get them over my ankles, and the belly part cut into my belly and made me feel sick. No thanks.
I have used different bags for each kid. First time I used a j.j. Cole shoulder bag. Second, just used a big purse. Third kid I got a backpack from amazon. Each have served their purpose. I'll reuse the backpack for this kid but have my eye on this onebecause its pretty & I no longer have a large purse.
Backpack Pros- it doesn't scream diaper bag,
Large open main pocket allows multiple uses,
Side access made it easy to stash my wallet or access wipes,
Side pockets easily hold water bottles,
Washing machine friendly,
Doctor bag style top kept bag open for easy searching/ access,
Kept hands free with older kids,
Held about the same as other bags (though i packed lighter after multiple kids)
Cons- needed additional smaller bags for organization,
No stroller clips (I attached my own),
No insulated pockets,
Wasn't comfortable wearing it in crowds,
No included changing pad (I kept one from previous bag)
Got these from Amazon for my last pregnancy. So comfortable, affordable, and great for postpartum too.
I was super tempted to try Blanqi because I had been wearing my target leggings and hate them, but decided to try some more cheap ones out first. I got these from amazon and they’ve been great so far! I’ve already washed and dried them like 10 times and no pilling yet. Super breathable and not warm so they’ll be great when it gets warmer too.
I am experiencing this during this pregnancy and it’s not fun. My OB recommended this belt I got from amazon
It's You Babe Mini Cradle - Medium 181-225 Pounds https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000I5UASY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Gq3qEb70TD22E
It’s awkward for me but I’m willing to try anything to help it. She is also recommending PT. Best of luck - this sucks.
I bought this one off Amazon! Works great. Note that this is the Amazon.ca site so it's probably cheaper on Amazon.com
I got the longer one and that was indeed the length I needed (I'm 5'7"). I love that the U shaped pillow let's me put one of the trunks between my knees while the other helps keep my from rolling on my back. I am used to sleeping with my head propped up a bit higher, so I lay my memory foam pillow on top of the middle U portion for extra support. Now that I'm getting all sniffly in the second trimester it helps me wake up less congested.
My partner is really sentimental and has kept all of our tickets to movies/parks/concerts/flights etc. since our first date. I’m getting him a ticket box from amazon to display all of our stuff.

One suggestion I got for surviving summer weather is to buy an ice pack meant for dogs and put it in my bed. I haven't found any well reviewed ones on Amazon yet, but this looks promising.
We used these from Amazon— they are great! We used them for changing diapers (on the bed or floor), and now we use them for potty training, by putting them under her sheets. 👍👍
