I will!
One last item I am getting is a bin to sit it in, I think this one. The autopot unit will fit into it perfectly and it holds the volume of the reservoir (I have the 12gal). I'm using this in my living room on what is essentially a houseplant so a reservoir spill would be a disaster.
I'm really only going to worry about it when they are seedlings up to about 4 weeks, that's why I have the small tent and humidifier. After I move them to the autopots the transpiration and wet soil will help, I also have one of these humidifiers if needed, I'm in the desert so I never have to lower humidity.
This might be a little cleaner than a cinder block and some plywood. And it comes in cool colors.
i tend to consider refill at the 1/2 way mark (i.e. if it gets much lower the pressure to the pots will be much less than ideal) this way i can know what sort of mix to provide for the nutrients (i.e. ~6gal is the known water of 1/2 reservoir, then mix accordingly)
one thing i wish autopot had suggested and i know better, was to provide a shut-off valve on each pot, in order to remove your pots and not have water all over your tent, you will need to turn the entire system off (water wise) i've since picked up a 4 pack of these shutoffs and am thankful - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KKIJW6?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
Great question, and something that I would like to know as well. I'm putting together a plan right now, and was thinking of using one of these:

Again, I have no idea what I'm doing here, but I've seen that type used in RDWC-type setups, so that's where my head is at, for now anyway.
Hi! Is this what you use? https://www.amazon.com/CANNA-Coco/dp/B007TFSNG2
Thinking of getting into Coco with Autopots; I've done DWC and Soil, and I want to try something new.
Thanks!
Mine are timed with the lights. I used a smaller pump at first, burn out. I grew without air, it was fine. Now I use this pump. Works great.

I use 4 gallon potato fabric pots. The diameter of the base is 10 inches and you would want something a bit smaller. A 9 inch base works fine but a 9.84 inch base is better. These almost doubled in price lately but are perfect.

Put shut off valves on each pot. I use Ro push in connectors. And yes your right about the overflow. I have a table and boot tray I put the plants on when I take them out as the pots will drip.

You need the right top hat grommet. You can get bags of 25 pretty cheap. These are the ones I got but their for the older system: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07MDNB45Y/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Right sized drill bit and a plastic container. I made my own filter like the 47 liter reserve that comes with the XL system.
I swapped out the connectors and added shut off valves using these RO pushfit connectors: https://www.amazon.ca/s?k=1%2F4+inch+pushfit+connector&crid=1L04O1NWXC997&sprefix=1%2F4+inch+pushfit+connector%2Caps%2C76&ref=nb\_sb\_noss
And some extra tubing. I just use any 1/4 inch hard tubing. I prefer the hard tubing.
Figure out the best placement for your hole. Drill and clean edges. Put in grommet. Run tube through and add you filter. Add shutoff valve. Fill it up a bit to make sure it doesn't leak. Sometime the RO connectors need a push in to be locked. That's why I like the hard plastic lines.
Hope this helps
