It's exactly the steam version and you can use your steam account. Plays the same. It's great. You can play nots or crate your own games.

Apart from what the other posters mentioned, iwillnevergrowup.com, has a good collection of cheap minis. Note: Unfortunately they don't look as good as they do in their images, but they are dang cheap so you really cant complain.
Also would recommend this for gw36. HBGs acrylic chips are too expensive for my taste, so I use these bingo chips to colour my infantry by gluing them togeather. Yellow for militia, blue for marines, green for airborne, purple for mountain, white for colonial (not really required) and red for elites (Gurkhas, French foreign legion, etc) .
I’m sure like most things you can find it at a reduced price but the suggested retail price is $100, and sales generally lower it to about $75-80; it’s definitely not inaccurate to generalize it as a hundred dollar game.
If you have room and don't care that they no longer fit in the original box, you could put them in something like those Plano tackle box organizers.

The app is titled 1941, but in fact it has the option to play both 1941 and 1942. Would recommend if you're on Android.
