An erotica writing friend of mine just published a Dark BDSM Romance novel called Torn. Just reading the description, you'll be able to tell that it's not a Harlequin Romance.

It's short for a novel at about 150 pages (50,000 words), but she writes very quickly (wrote that novel in like 2 weeks), but it's a seriously capturing read.
