Growth happened! A lot of it. So much so that we had to redirect a lot of our development effort to scaling and stability. At some point in the last few months we stopped updating the Beta 5 frontend and focused on making better recommendations algorithms and things like serializing and deduping content.
Beta 6 is still brewing and is going to be released very soon. Once we clear the tickets, we'll start migrating non-testers. There are 5 blocker bugs, 8 normal bugs, and some performance tuning that we need to complete before we can start the migration.
Here's the results from a poll we did in test two weeks ago: https://www.strawpoll.me/embed_1/15223250/r
In summary: SOON
That means that you probably can't load the thumbnails.
We use external CDNs for the images, so make sure that you aren't blocking those sources. You may want to also open up your console and see why the images aren't loading. Paste one of the image errors here and I'll see if we can get to the bottom of this.

I'm personally a bit nervous about random .exe files from the internet, so I'd agree with the poster and compile it yourself to be safe.
So, our rec engine knows that data as decaying relative scores, but we don't actually know the numbers, and they are very expensive to calculate. I can, however, point to Alexa and tell you that it's time on site, while a little under the average we have, should give you a good idea of how long people view content and/or stay on the site.
