You are not alone. Most of us have had this issue. You need a screw remover to get it out, and I still have not found replacements.

The problem is the industrial grade lok-tite they use. And the very soft steel. Screws should not be this cheap.

In fact I've been looking for any number of parts and cant seem to find much. I was able to get the screws needed for securing the tube and thats about all.
