So exactly the same thing happened to me when I bought this one from amazon:

Just got it yesterday. The navigation works, but got this message when trying to update. What I suspect is they're selling counterfeit copies, ie. purchase one from the dealership and make multiple copies. I'm in a process of contacting the seller, they promised to send a new one but I haven't heard from them anymore.
You scared me, what do you mean "my VIN has been blocked"? The infotainment is not working at all or just the navi?
I just went with this. It’s kind of feels cheap in terms of quality, but seems to work good enough. Mine is garage kept 95% of the time and I rarely use it, so YMMV.
I bought these small cup that fit into the side doors.
They're about the size of a coffee cup, so its perfect for some wrappers or a couple of tissues. They don't have a hinge or anything fancy, but I highly prefer that since it just means they can't really break and are easy to take apart to clean. Tiny and non-intrusive. Love them.
You could always go this route and get a fob cover that provides a minor gap of space before a button get's touched. I read through some of the reviews and multiple people bought this cover for the same problem you are trying to solve. https://www.amazon.com/Vitodeco-Protector-2019-2021-Hatchback-2020-2021/dp/B087MZ7V2H/ref=sr\_1\_8?keywords=key%2Bfob%2Bcover%2Bmazda&qid=1668809095&sr=8-8&th=1
It would be hard to not wear out anything you touch constantly with your hands, regardless of the material. I just gave up and found a steering wheel cover I liked and was done with it. This is the one I went with.
I bought this awhile back to do some work on my Mazda 6. These work great for gently prying stuff apart.

You just stick it on with the attached double sided tape but a little silver still shows so I sprays a small amount of plasti dip to cover it up
I bought these similar ones (likely from the same original factory) and am very happy with the fit and finish. Had the same design in my CX-5:

I like it because in summer, when I don't have to carry cold weather stuff, I can fold up one side so it takes up less room in the trunk.
Thanks! Link didn't work but found it from the product number if anybody else is interested
I opted for this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M8DB2QL. It's not as sleek as the Mazda option, but I figured it'd be softer on my pup's paws. I ordered the small so it doesn't come up that high on the sides, but it's still long enough to fold over the bumper. The only downside I noticed is that when you put the seats back up, you have to move fold the cover a bit out of the way of the latch. We've had a couple picnics out of the back of the vehicle--it's easy to brush off, and it's been a pretty practical cover so far.
I got the all weather cargo liner and floor mats. I really like having them. After seeing another Redditors quilted cargo liner on Amazon, I picked one up and absolutely love it!

This is what you need. Save your time and money. I did mine and it only comes on when car is running. I was so frustrated just like you to find out that no fuse at the driver's seat has one that's not powered when the vehicle is turned off.
I completely missed this until I after I had already purchased the Premium. Ridiculous that a 'Premium' doesn't have such a basic (should be standard) feature.
I'm considering adding this license plate frame with parking sensors: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002XUXUTS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Based on comments in this thread and others I was worried about noise and hesitant to get OEM. I ended up going with them as they're a great deal - Yakima bars and towers for ~$255 at online retailers. A Yakima or Thule solution would be $550+ from etrailer and isn't available yet.
Tested after installing up to 65, noise not too bad but could hear some whistling. Removed stickers and heard the whistling/howling people mention, getting pretty annoying around 65mph. Tried wrapping a bungee spiraled around front bar - howling went away. The remaining sound I'd describe more as buffeting or just added turbulence. This is much less annoying but there's more of it than other roof racks I've had and I think is a function of how high the rack needs to be above the roof for the crazy pano sunroof angle. Probably a little unavoidable.
I ordered these (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M31NA6E?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) which are for another rack (but T-slots are T-slots) and installed in place of the existing neoprene gasket, took about 5 minutes. Just as good as the bungee and less turbulence. I'm happy with this solution. Drove up to 90+ mph today to test, turbulence is consistent from 65-95 and totally ignorable. No howling. You need (3) for the front bar as they are only 14" lengths. This is a great solution for ~$9 and doesn't look hack. Somehow the price has tripled since when I ordered though, mine were $2.89? I'd attach photos but I'm a newb and I don't think i have privileges yet.
Really the OEM bars should have come with something like this, or they should have included a pop-up air splitter like normal sunroofs have.
Here is the one I bought.

There is an aftermarket remote start that integrates with the key fob. It isn’t listed for the cx 50 but it works for several other models and I figure it’ll be the same for it. I’m definitely going to look into getting it in the nearby future once I get mine.
