I use the red button for my starter, the signal switch for my signal lights and the little black switch for high beam/low beam. It's perfect for me, and keeps everything very neat and minimal.

They are really cheap, but with a bit of wiring fun they work great and I like the look.
The electronics are original CDI, and I have it all built into the gap between the seat and the bottom of the upper frame rail. The battery sits back in the hump.
