You can get an adapter like this but they aren't refillable and will cost more in the long run and some state are banning them.

Whether camp chef approves of doing that is a different question I didn't look into.

FYI, even high smoke at low temps doesn't give me a good smoke flavor. I bought a smoke tube from Amazon and it does the trick. You load it up with pellets and light them with a propane torch.

This is the one I bought and am happy with it.
