In my experience, they pump faster than the 12v outlet compressors. These hook onto the battery terminals and are really fast. I've had the same one for 5 years and picked up another for the other car. I'll put a link below. Mine was $60 at Menards last year.

2006 and newer Sonata wheel should fit the Camry. The bolt pattern are the same (5x114.3). The Sonata's center bore (the big hold in the middle of the wheel) is bigger than the Camry's hub (67.1mm vs 60.1mm so it would fit over just fine. I do recommend centering rings like these on Amazon so that the Hyundai wheels sits center on the Camry hubs to prevent possible vibration. 205/60-16 tires were an optional size on the XLE Camry so your speedometer should stay the same. Also check if the wheel spoke touches the brake calipers. If everything clears (min 2mm) you're good to go.

Every car should have a co-pilot!!
I feel your excitement and struggle. I use to own a '96 Camry a few years ago and we're gonna get your ol lady looking 20 years younger! I would start with a rim and two tires if you can, so you can wear em down evenly. Then on to hubcaps. You can get multiple sets if you wanna change the look. Then a wash and wax to get it a good shine.
And personally, I'd move onto interior accessories. Full coverage seat covers, trim pieces, organizers, phone mounts, stereo and bluetooth. Small luxuries are just next level serotonin banks.

Yes I installed them myself. Took aprox 4hours. Had to modify bumper cover a little but was pretty easy since the bumper cover is plastic.

I had a 2015 Camry with the standard bulb like that and I opt'd to get the plug in LED lights. Something like this where the entire ballast just fits right the bulb would have gone. Super easy install.
Highly recommend this device. It should work with any wired carplay radio to add wireless. I swap it back and forth between my Hyundai Sonata and Honda CR-V.

It has wireless apple/Android. I only had it about two weeks before I was rear ended and my car was totaled, but the screen was great and I had no issues with it. It blended in and looked great.
The only thing that didn't work great was phone calls. My wife said it sounded horrible. It did come with a mic to plugin and put near the driver's visor, but I didn't use it because is stuck out like a sore thumb and looked ugly.

I guess I should add some potentially helpful tips for anyone that comes across this. We were able to get an extra 2+ years out of our 2012 Camry Hybrid 12v battery by spending ~$30 on this battery charger from Amazon (it's currently $25.99 today on Aug 21, 2022 so even cheaper than I paid back in May 2020).
We were living up in the Northeast in 2020 and our first winter up there killed the battery. I used my multimeter to check the voltage and it was under 11 volts. Like the battery should've been unrevivable according to everything I read online.
I used that cheap battery charger's "repair" function, which does a low amp trickle charge, for like 24+ hours and it brought the battery back to life. I periodically checked the voltage of the battery with the multimeter and it stayed above the healthy threshold (12.5+ volts I think?). And then it wasn't until today, on a regular unremarkable August day in the midwest, that the car just wouldn't start and the battery is now reading ~11.2 volts.
I have it hooked up to that battery charger again so we'll see if I can bring it back from the dead once more just for the sake of moving it out of the way in our driveway.
Anyway, hope this can help someone else get a few extra days, weeks, or years out of their hybrid 12v!

For cabin air filter, any basic compatible charcoal filter is fine.
I personally suggest changing the cabin filter every 2-3 months depending on your area's dust and humidity levels.
For engine air filter, I suggest an OEM one from a parts store.

Anyone else have experience with this? My wife has a 2022 Highlander and each time I step back into my 2018 Camry, my life gets a little more sad, haha.
I searched for the same thing. There was a recall for those but it only covered certain VIN numbers (mine wasn't covered). You can go the correct route and purchase a new dash. It seemed to complicated to install and too expensive for a car that old. So I just bought a dash cover from amazon for 30$.

However, I opened it up to swap out the LED bar, originally it's pretty dim and connects to the side marker light, so it only lights up at night. I swapped it with WS2812b RGB strip and power it from an empty slot in my fuse box, controlled by an Arduino and optocoupler board. I also modded it a little so I can put LED bulbs in and have the heat vented outside

hey it looks like my Camry lmao
it's made by Vland but sold under different brands (Mine was sold under ECCPP but came in Vland packaging), I'll leave the Amazon link I bought from on the bottom of this comment.
One thing tho, the Lexus light bar plugs into side marker light, so it only lights up at night when your side marker lights turn on. I went through all the hassle, opened it up, replaced the original LED with some WS2812b strips so it's bright enough to be seen during daytime and run some arduino and boards to have it turn on when the car is on and add sequential signal light to it
Not sure if they are the same, but they look close to the ones I have. I got them on Amazon.

As you mentioned, the high beams work at 12v while the DRLs work at 6v or something low enough to where the LED malfunctions. Most of the LEDs function at strictly 12v, and they don’t change voltage.
I spend a lot of time and money buying numerous bulbs and testing them out. Along with he harness for getting the DRLs working. My biggest issue was the DRLs wouldn’t light up evenly on both sides in addition to flickering or not working DRL mode at all.
So this is the setup that works perfectly for me. Been running it for a year now with no issues. I am not saying these are the only bulbs that work, but after buying so many pairs and testing, these are the only ones that I found worked. Maybe there’s newer ones out there since then that may work too.
Please let me know if you need any help!

Here's a good DIY. There's also tons of DIY on youtube.
Don't cheap out and by cheap ebay valve cover gasket (I learn that the hard way.) Felpro (check that it's USA made) or OEM are the best choice. Don't forget the four spark plug tube seals. You may also want to buy a new distributor/camshaft plug since they're rubber coated and can be hard to reseal the old one once they have been compressed. Any FIPG (foam in place gasket) will work to seal the corners, plug, and half moons. I use Permatex grey which is similar to the original Toyota FIPG. (The pricier Permatex Right stuff will work and dry faster).
When you're ready to tighten the valve cover nuts down, torque them to 17 ft lb. (33 ft lb was the wrong spec in the FSM) After a couple days, check the torque on the nuts again. The valve cover gasket will compress and the nut will be loose. You'll have to check it a few times for the first month until they still tight. It's a got habit to check them during an oil change since they are know to back off.
Good luck on the job.

well, the answer is yes. and the more professional versions would not be a cigarette outlet they would run into an open fuse. the difference in installation would be minimal. if you are going to the extent of pulling panels and hiding wires, wiring into your fuse box wouldn’t be very much difference.
i have a outlet in my dash cubby and one behind my gear shift under a flip panel. so i just ran into the cubby so it would be hidden and out of the way.
i also know for sure they make led strips that are usb, so you could just use an adapter to a lighter outlet that has the lighter + female usb end and it would be very similar, however i haven’t researched these for vehicles. all of my usb rgb’s are on electronics

Something like: https://www.amazon.com/PYvideo-Toyota-Integrated-2012-2014-Factory/dp/B00KLSX3ZK
You take the radio out, add in a wiring harness between the one that's there and the head unit, and run wire all the way to the trunk via the driver's footwell and the kick plates, drill a hole for the camera and wire everything up using the connectors (it's basically plug and play; no splicing required, as I remember). The car recognized mine right away upon shifting into reverse and it works just like stock - I was super happy with how it turned out! Probably would take a chunk of some nice Saturday if you don't rush too much, and it's not a complicated project per se (I could likely do it again in two or three hours but probably spent twice that being careful and double checking things).
I was wondering why I lost one of the dual note horn
I thought I over honked 😆
Wire rotted out right at the crimp for the connector
$15 later on eBay, I got a new pigtail with some fresh wire, nice crimp and seal connector, with some 3M 88 tape over the top, should outlast the car
If you have a Camry and the horns are getting tired, Hella makes a drop in replacement for most Toyota products
$21 or so on Amazon, they sound 90% identical to the factory ones, for a much better price
Left Rear door lock on my '06 stopped working
When it stuck in the unlock position, all the door locks would go crazy when you'd shift out of Park, I've got the driveway door locks on
You can buy the whole actuator/latch assembly from Toyota or Aisin in the aftermarket, to the tune of $150+
I did this with the drivers door, before I knew they could be dismantled and repaired 🤡💵
Or for $22 delivered, you can get 4 replacements of the internal 12v hobby motor that actually actuates the lock/unlock part of the latch
They'll all fail eventually, so buy the 4 pack and keep the rest on the shelf
There's a few pictures and write ups scattered about online, but none specific to Camry
If you can pull a door panel, and undo 3 Torx T30 bolts that hold the entire latch on, I'm confident you can figure it out
If your gonna have 4 doors, best they all function 😆
This is what I use to connect my phone. Works really well and you can keep the stock look https://www.amazon.com/Nulaxy-Wireless-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Smartphones/dp/B018E0I01I/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=bluetooth+adapter+for+car&qid=1628481585&sprefix=bluetooth+ada&sr=8-3
Also , if you're looking for LED bulbs to go along, these lenses take H7 bulbs and these Aukee ones fit in the housing perfectly with no modification.
These are the switchback you're talking about. I have them installed in my Camry SE. It will probably say not compatible with your Camry if you have your make and model saved in Amazon garage. Trust me they work great.
Edit: I see you're referring to the "X" trims. Others are correct you'd need to change the entire assembly.
I got a dash cover for mine, some people don't like covers but I think it looks good imo. I also changed out the door lights for LED lights, dome light and trunk light.
I have one in my 2012 that sticks into the cd player slot a little bit and hooks itself in there. There's a release button for taking it out.
The first one I have and use to charge my phone. However my car won’t play music from just that it has a separate thing for the aux. there is a cigarette lighter like that and then another hole separately for aux only. (www.amazon.com/dp/B07P5Q8SC1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_118JCRQRA9DMVXSXS3MK) this is the cord I got for my aux. it does not charge my phone and I’m in search of a loophole that would do both simultaneously
The dashboard in my 2010 is just like this. I got this off Amazon for relatively cheap and the dash is no longer an issue for me:
It used to be dangerous to drive the car but now I can actually see the road when it's sunny out or there are lights on the street.
Yes the car is still under warranty, I also get a lot of data from the dashboard itself, but I saw one reader relatively cheap: https://www.amazon.com/Foseal-Improved-Version-Diagnostic-inCarDoc/dp/B077F8F6TB/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_img_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PPQ2EB1VVPMXVP3SCAXD and was wondering about the overall opinions here. But you're right, I may actually not need one at this very moment.

It's toast, mine did the same thing. The $300 is probably not even to repair your radio but for a new one, I'm not sure you can repair that.
What you want to do is replace the radio, but get the JBL Converter so it still uses your JBL Amp + sound system.

Similar to that but double check your 05 vs my 04.
I had the same thing happened and freaked out but to the person who was talking about drying out has a point. I use this on the seats and used this on the dash (the conditioner after cleaning the dash). It took it away. You may have to apply a couple of thin coats evenly across the entire dash to clear the marks. Put one on and let it sit for an hour then do another until you get the results your looking for. I would HIGHLY suggest doing this in the shade and the dash is cool. https://www.amazon.com/Lexol-Leather-Conditioner-Cleaner-Accessories/dp/B07LGVXSFK/ref=sr_1_5?crid=10MG83KNIORKI&dchild=1&keywords=car+leather+cleaner+lexol&qid=1619368816&sprefix=car+lexol%2Caps%2C205&sr=8-5
I actually got it as a gift and don't have it in my order history but I do know it was purchased from Amazon. I wouldn't recommend my specific model. Quality isn't that great but it works.
This is a similar model:

I found this for you that might work the non greasy finish is what you should look for because in my experience the shiny dash can reflect back onto the windscreen and it’s annoying. For $14 it might seem a bit pricey but you can go ahead and spray other parts of your car like plastics and vinyls to keep them from going dry. And make sure you do not get it on the windows because it will be a pain to remove
I got one off amazon last week for my 21 SE Camry. It’s just your basic two piece collapsible sun shade. Great reviews too. I got the medium size. It’s on sale right now too.

https://smile.amazon.com/Husky-Liners-Front-Footwell-Coverage/dp/B002LBO73M
I got these for my old 2018 CX-5 and new 2019 Corolla SE. They fit well and are really easy to clean. The cheap floor mats are okay but the fitted ones are way better. I have Toyota ones for our 2015 Camry SE and I love that they say “Camry” on them but the Husky mats fit better for sure.
Tint and a dash cam may be good add ons for you as well, along with a backup camera. The OEM exhaust tip shouldn’t be expensive either if you’ve got the 4 cylinder without it. We had a 2009 LE til we got the 2015 so I’m familiar with your gen Camry. Enjoy the new car!
UPDATE: I think this is the one made for the 2007-2011 model. I am not too sure though, but I got this one.

Here is the one I have. It looks decent, and does what I need it to do. I'm sure you also have the cursed sticky dash. This really helps cover it up and reduces the glare. There seem to be a lot of other options on Amazon too
There’s switchbacks LED’s you can buy. When the blinker is on they go from white to amber to white again. something like this.

Not that you asked but it looks like the camera I bought is no longer for sale but they have many similar ones on Amazon.
I’d recommend the Sylvania Xtravision bulbs: https://smile.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-XtraVision-Halogen-Headlight-Contains/dp/B0031HEIDY
Slightly brighter, 850 hour life (1000 for the standard bulbs, 250 for the white/blue ones). Had them on my old 2005 Camry low beams and fog lights. Also have them in one of our Corollas.
Helpful tip: use gloves when installing the new bulbs. Oil from your skin reduced bulb life when you touch the bulbs with bare hands.
Got it from amazon here
Pair of Car LED DRL Daytime... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KC6JYTC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And the DRL’s themselves aren’t hard to install, but the fog lights yes. I couldn’t figure out how to do it so they’re just for show lmao. And the switch that came with it didn’t even fit.
If you take them to a professional they can probably do it easily. The quotes I got were roughly $90ish
Congratulations on the trd what color? I did research online, amazon, and the mcgard website. They say the size is m12 x 1.5 thread size for 2019 camry. I bought these off amazon for my 2019 xse, but havent installed them. I'll install tonight and let you know if they dont fit. Unfortunately, Mcgard site doesnt show the 2020 cars yet. Oh wait what that's not an overlay? Not this item? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VFWCR8M
That's awesome that you popped it off and did it yourself. I'm going to have to look into that, didn't even think of it.
How did you get the screen red? Is there a way to change the backlighting for the knobs to red that I didn't know about???
