Cant help with anything I have, but thought I might mention that you could go new. Amazon has BLU and other brand unlocked android devices very cheap. It should get the job done. Or depending on the situation with your phone you could upgrade yours to a 5X (230) or 6P (400) both of which are pretty great phones for a good price and give him yours? Best of luck.
