I got rid of my satin pillowcase because my facial skin would ‘stick’ on it, I felt like it wasn’t breathable at all and it grossed me out.
This is the silk pillowcase I bought and I just love it so much: Anvo Silk Pillowcase for Hair and Skin Queen Size 25 Momme 100% Pure Mulberry Both Sides Soft Breathable Silk Pillow Case with Hidden Zipper (1PC, White) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XK6CX46
it’s super soft on the skin and my face doesn’t feel sticky at all. It’s really good quality for the price; 25 momme is a nice thickness, I also tried some really cheap thin 19 momme silk pillowcases and didn’t like them as much as this one.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DCP5XCV/ref=cm_sw_r_api_i_TVZH0VDBRBGHX07A5PF7_0 I got this one I heard after buying it tho that on the more pricier side is the water sticks shower stick and I might save and get it next because I heard it's supposed to be better than mine
But with the one I have https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DCP5XCV/ref=cm_sw_r_api_i_TVZH0VDBRBGHX07A5PF7_0
It's relaxing to me although where I live the place is actually built off of limestone so the water is incredibly hard so it may just be easy to feel a difference

If you have hard water get a water softener nozzle attachment. It helps immensely! I had the same issue and feel like my hair is bouncing back when i do my treatments
There are water softener attachments for your shower!!

I’ve seen them cheaper but as a general idea, it’ll help if that’s your only issue!
I usually use this in my hair every day and just use my hands to get my hair to lay flat, but the moment I scrunch out my hair, my bangs do that by themselves.
What should I do to get my bangs to lay longer?
I use this as my leave in because it has UV filters in it.

Pineappling works best with a silky scruchie or one of these without a lot of tension — gather hair loosely on the top/front of your head (like a unicorn horn, not a ponytail!) that way the hair in the front will be preserved more.
Spray your hair with water every time you want to brush or style it, use the Tangle Teaser brush and brush your hair starting from the ends rather than the root. Use a little eco style gel to run through your hair and continue with the brush so the gels reaches the ends of your hair. Finish with a hairband/scrunchie and then use the Amla oil to seal the gel by running it over your curls in your ponytail.
Every night, spray with water, detangle with the brush and use a small amount of oil and twist or plait it for bed.
To wash and condition your hair try Aphogeee products.
I hope this helps, it helped my hair so much however, everyone’s hair is different so try a few options until you find what works for you.
Good Luck :)
I bought a rubber diffuser attachment that works great and fits over most standard hair dryers! Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MRXDD8W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_SK74XGD2NK8N219Y3820?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have thick 2c-3a hair as well, and the black orchid diffuser changed my life. Well, that's a little dramatic, but it definitely changed my hair for the better. It went from 80's perm curls to big bouncy curls in one go. HIGHLY recommend!
As I Am Dry & Itchy Scalp Cowash has made a huge difference for me. My scalp always acts up (dry, itchy, flaky) when the seasons change and this has helped keep my hair moisturized but not weighed down.
I have this one off of Amazon, and I love it so much: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LW5QIVO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZK323PVBJBF7E42SX867?psc=1
It had helped my hair last for multiple days, and it isn’t too expensive. The color has faded, but I use face oils and such which have discolored it. Just make sure to wash it inside out on cold and air dry it!
Your hair will likely dry faster if you use high airflow or high temperature, but those settings can also increase frizz.
To reduce drying time, you could squeeze excess water from your hair and blot with a paper towel.
Do you know what, specifically, about the dryer/diffuser is causing the knotting? Knotting is more likely a technique issue—are you manipulating your hair or stuffing it into the diffuser?
For a hand dryer, I’ve use a Rusk W8less, which is great quality, extremely light weight and cool temperature. However, it’s very similar to my deva dryer and my hair turns out the same.
I use a Super Solano universal diffuser, but many people recommend the black orchid or similar model.
If you have the space and the desire, you can get a salon-style hooded dryer. These are the best to control frizz and set your hair in place.
Finding the right products for you is somewhat of trial and error - you also have to factor in your hair’s porosity, texture, curl pattern and the climate where you live. For example I can’t have any products with glycerin, they make my hair look awful because of the climate where I live.
I read this book: Curly Girl: The Handbook https://www.amazon.com/dp/076115678X and it gave me the knowledge to help zero in on products that would be best for my hair type, the rest as I said is a bit of trial and error. I recommend reading this book (you can certainly find it at your local library) before spending more money on trying products. Good luck!
