For sure, both have directions on can:
It looks like from your other comments you don't intend to cut on the countertop so https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LNSIZ0/ stuff is my go to. It also has a UV protectorate so it will keep the bamboo from fading. It's probably my number one finish.
If you do think you'll maybe cut on it, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084TNCT28/ is bees wax and is food grade.
Howard makes both products and they make excellent natural finishes.
Good luck!
Edit: if you do go this route, since you'll be resealing, feel free to be a little more aggressive on the sanding. So I would sand with 180, wipe with lightly dampened mineral spirits rag, repeat at ~240 grit. Then wait a day to see if oil returns. I doubt it will but in case it does, just hit it with 240 again. When you're happy, finish with the wax. Now if the oiliness isn't terrible then skip all the above and just do the 320 lightly and wipe with the mineral spirits and call it a day.

I disagree here; a board with good feet doesn't slide, and does stay raised above the mess on the countertop. The one I made for my wife stays where she puts it. I buy these feet, and they have worked well for my boards.
I started using these, even though they are more expensive, because they keep the board in place better than the round one - https://www.amazon.com/12PCS-Black-Color-Square-Rubber/dp/B01NCB5EVA?th=1. I also find them more consistent in height.

Yes, I use small rubber feet that are maybe 1mm thick. It keeps the cutting board from sliding. My cutting board is huge (25 lbs, 24x18x2.25”), so in addition to the four corners, I also have a foot in the center. It stays on my counter though - I have a few smaller cutting boards that don’t have feet.

Hmm I might be able to find paraffin actually. Good idea. It's not too expensive on Amazon either.
Personally, id take some epoxy and mix a black pigment in it, then put it on, sand it down, and put cutting board wax over the whole thing. You could also use some black CA glue, https://www.amazon.com/Starbond-KBL-500-Flexible-Premium-Toughened/dp/B00BUVAVC0
I've had this Boos Block for almost 5 years, and I've been pretty happy with it. I know some people aren't aware of how much oil the board will take in after opening. I've had it start curving, which I fixed with more oil.
Since then, I've purchased some smaller boards from local wood workers, and the results have been a lot nicer and cleaner.
Local artisans are more likely to have kept the board in good condition. Where something from amazon or some other warehouse retailer may have been sitting in a warehouse for a while and could potentially have permanent damage.
Agreed with everyone else.
Make a router sled, something like this. Then buy a router bit like this (make sure the shank size is correct for your router) and plane that way. It really is the best way if you dont have a planer.
I'm paying about $2.24 per 16oz bottle. I found this amazon product on reddit, a redditor mentioned their company made this stuff and it was rather cost effective. $18/gallon https://www.amazon.com/Mineral-Cutting-Butcher-Stainless-Approved/dp/B00VNI1JI0/

I'm on desktop now so I can grab the direct link to the large I bought. Dimension says:
Hope that helps, let me know if you have other questions. I'm definitely happy with this board and would buy it for others. Just keep away from heat, no hot pans/pots!
I only say that because wooden boards now feel hollow to me when I handle them. Do you have a large wooden board you can weigh?
Let me weigh my largest wooden one, it shows 1.928 kg, so less than my hisoft. Amazon link with dimensions: Midori Way Thick Bamboo Wood Cutting Board with Juice Grooves - Extra Large 18x12 inches https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B010A5JP5K
Visually, it looks like same thickness and roughly the same surface area (wider but shorter) than hisoft.
So without doing the full math above it does appear at first glance to be denser than bamboo.
