I think this game is something between DayR, Minecrafts and a random zombie apocalyptic games. It allows you to design and build vehicles or houses from scratch to the point where you can build the remote controlled suicide-bomber wheelchair to blow up pack of zombie squads.
The updates are now so far only available for the Day R Premium app, and not for the free Day R app (even though you have bought the premium through the Day R app). I guess it will be released soon in the free app, too.

To sign in to the game with your Google Play account:
check for updates and update all Google apps and services on your device;
make sure the game is installed on your device directly from Google Play;
make sure your Internet connection is stable;
after that try to log in manually from the game menu (top left button).
If this doesn't help try the following:

Force stop this app and then activate it again
Reboot your device
