My guess is no, as it looks like a gaiter. Having a mask with clearly visible ear loops is the best way to avoid getting any questions. If you're worried about your ears getting tired, you can loop them through an "ear saver" on the back of your head.
Hey! I had a similar dilemma and found this awesome invention. The mifold booster seat. Its a portable car seat that meets NHTSA regulations and can fit in a purse. It's obviously not as safe as a full size seat, but it's perfect for travel or if you want to drop off the kids with someone who doesn't have a spare in their car. We bought one for our last trip to Orlando and my wife just put it in the carryon. Super convenient and highly recommended. It'll be cheaper than renting a car seat and you get to keep the seat for future!

*P.S. I know this might sound like I'm shilling, but I have no affiliation with the company. Read the Amazon reviews as well. :)

I would get them the Frommer's Guide. In there they have plans for what to do at each of the parks in a day. I find them very helpful.
Is it the line (queue) or the ride itself?
We use a pair of ear pro/ noise canceling headphones it makes a HUGE difference.

I say that because we were SHOCKED by ours absolutely loving Seven Dwarves and Big Thunder, and of course all the dark rides are a hit.
The rides she will absolutely not do again are space mountain and guardians, I think it's because it's in the dark and you cant see whats coming.
For peace of mind, you can get a strap to hold on to your glasses. I use these and can’t even notice they’re there.
How strict is the park with “costumes”? I’d like to wear a dress that is similar to Belle’s but I don’t know if it would count as “dressing up” and if they would not let me into the park over it. Would something like this be okay? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WR219N4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1FDWPHPJQWAT9ZF4CD6E?psc=1
I agree with “splurging” by going on all the rides! It could also be a lot of fun for you both to look for hidden Mickeys as you make your way through the parks. This is a great book to use as your guide.
Probably too late, but I purchased the following insoles for my upcoming May trip. They were only $3 on Amazon and you can cut them to fit your size foot. I tried them in and it feels like you walk on clouds...

Now is not a realistic look at wait times. It's the start of spring break season that will last through Easter.
A few quick tips from a local with an annual pass.
Make any dining reservations as soon as you can. The park dining reservations are hard to get.
Bring lightweight, cheap ponchos. Like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XD821TV/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_20E4JZJH8CS351KHSDA6
It will be a hot summer day and a quick shower in the afternoon, so plan accordingly.
At both of those parks you can bring in a sack lunch. Last week, we noticed portion sizes at quick service restaurants have been cut back by a third. So $20.00 for lunch is not uncommon.
A bit of a note. Epcot will have Guardians of Galaxy finished. That may draw some of the crowd levels away.
Reasons to stay on property. If you're flying into Orlando, 1. Rental car, gas, and parking are all through the roof. (About $100 per day savings at current prices not having a car on property using disney transportation) 2. Extra magic hours. 3. Time, you're not spending driving into the park. If you're driving in, 1. Extra magic hours. 2. Time savings from not having to wait in line to park your car and walk the huge lot.
Reasons not to stay on property. 1. Hotel cost 2. Going to attractions other than Disney.
If you're staying on property, this is my hotel recommended list. Deluxe Contemporary(finished remodeling last month) closest to Magic Kingdom, look at possibly of Disney Vacation Club tower(basically, your renting someone elses points saving money)
Non disney on property(Swan and Dolphin) Marriott properties next to Hollywood studios. Sometimes, they have surprising deals. Qualify for extra magic hours.
Moderate Port Orleans(French quarter) short bus ride to MGM
Value Stay off site value resorts have issues currently
This is from the Clone Wars build your own lightsaber kit. I actually still have mine. It came with tons of different pieces that you could use to build your own. Those three disks are colors (basically just the shape pushes in to tell the saber what LEDs to display). Here's a link: link
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but a whole post seemed dramatic. Does anyone happen to know if these are still being sold? I consider it "trip planning" because I need to buy them off ebay or amazon if I can't buy them there haha.
Yes something like this probably wouldn’t draw any attention. Toss your keys / phone in the bin and walk on through the metal detector.
You're DEFINITELY going to want to have layers in your bag, and probably wear layers.
You can have 50 degree mornings and 82 degree afternoons, and then even if the weather isn't crazy stores and restaurants can be all kinds of out of whack. It's 50 outside so the store is 120 degrees or it's 82 out so the restaurant is 35.

Have shorts, but probably plan on pants most days.
Back when you had to wear one all over the park, I used these. They are adjustable, light, breathable and basically just for the theatrics.

I need a good day pack for the parks.
Ideally, it should double for hiking as well.
Most important, I should have quick access to my water bottle.

Any suggestions?
I bought a second-hand DJI Osmo Action which is a very good alternative to the newest GoPros in terms of quality, and it's about half the price. That being said, it's still $200 new (you could probably find one for ~$150 used), but if video quality and general build quality is important, I would recommend it.
Otherwise, you could probably find a really cheap action camera on Amazon. I just searched Amazon and this Chinese-made one is $60 new. It looks okay, but if it's to let him play around with these kinds of cameras to see if he really wants one, it's a worthy and very cheap alternative.
I wear my Apple Watch with one of these so I can still use my magicband without having to wear two things on my wrist
I believe Art of Animation uses the 2 cup Cuisinart pod coffee makers. They are not traditional K-cups and are more like large tea bags. They provide Coffee by Joffrey's and if you need more the front desk will be able to facilitate that.
Another redditor mentioned that they brought these with them in March to Pop Century, that uses the same coffee maker, and they worked.

Second this! Has a bunch of sizes to choose from and comes with an extra phone protector. I mainly use it for kayaking trips but it's also my Disney go-to bag
i was recommended this bag for my first trip. i don't know if you're driving or flying, but this made it easier to pack as this bag folds up inside itself. on days when i didn't pack anything to the park, i could put it in my pocket and open it whenever i needed it (if i bought souveniers or something i didn't wanna carry, or i got tired of wearing my ears lol). it's also waterproof so that's a plus! they have two different sizes. they're not super huge and they're lightweight. i was able to put my portable charger, mouse ears, some snacks, ponchos, my go pro camera, and my phone cord and still had plenty of room if i needed it. i highly recommend it!

you could also always buy a bag and "prepack" it to see if it will fit everything you need it to fit before your trip. if it doesn't, return it! :)
If you want something light and (relatively) cheap, I've been using this bag for about 6 years. It's been to Disney World 4 times, Disneyland more times than I can count and hundreds of day trips and hikes. At this point, it's showing some wear, but I definitely got my $20 worth. It's soft and can be squished just about anywhere. It says it's water resistant, but it's only a little. If you set it on the wet ground, it will soak up water off the ground. It doesn't have any support, so you have to adjust things (like water bottles) so they don't poke you in the back, but I prefer that to a backpack that weighs 5 pounds empty (like my wife's). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HEZ9V3Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_A3ru3BGBiO9ca
Saw this recommended elsewhere and pulled the trigger. Super light and packs down into a tiny square, I use it for my commute to work now, but plan to use it at the parks too. Eddie Bauer 20L
My friend and I purchased a bag from Amazon and it was the perfect size. Plenty of pockets and compartments! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZK4XQF2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_fqh8oqDFSpvtz
Edit: looks like this one is unavailable, but there are other colors of the same bag available through their store on Amazon. Highly recommend!
I have mine on display on a stand like this and it's great! I love how they look and it's easy to get them on and off. Edit: And I flip most of them around so the artwork on the band is facing forward. :)
Instead of bringing disposable water bottles, consider getting a reusable bottle with a built-in filter. I got this one, and I didn’t notice any bad taste/smell of theme park water with it: Brita 20 Ounce Sport Water Bottle with Filter - BPA Freee, Lilac https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N7I7W5D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_IYe9FbZQS3EVF
Just grab a couple collapsible water bottles form the dollar store or Walmart. Something akin to this:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Eco-Highway-Hydration-Pouch-Collapsible-Reusable-20oz-Water-Bottle-Purple/47462500?athcpid=47462500&athpgid=athenaItemPage&athcgid=null&athznid=PWVUB&athieid=v0&athstid=CS020&athguid=583bed21-75e-...
Or, if you want something more permanent to keep for later use just grab these off of Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Baiji-Bottle-Collapsible-Silicone-Bottles/dp/B00UGQBTP8
I've got both I'm using on my trip in Sept.
Anyone have any experience with these sandals from Amazon? And do you think they'd be any good for Disney?
URRAX Women's Comfortable Flat Walking Sandals https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L5M2BRW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_8-.GDbPXQBQX4
Would I be able to bring in this camel pack?
https://www.amazon.com/hidrataci%C3%B3n-Marchway-ciclismo-senderismo-escalada/dp/B074MB46QK/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=3l%2Bcamel%2Bpack&qid=1599418425&sr=8-5&th=1
The dimensions are 19 x 9 x 2.
I saw one comment that said the limit was: "The only two things to keep in mind are that a) backpacks or similar bags larger than 18" wide x 25" high x 37" deep are not allowed."
Hi! This isn’t Disney Specific but I am studying animation in college. A book that has really helped me with drawing is called “Creating Characters with Personality” by Tom Bancroft. He is a Disney animator that worked on The Lion King. Beauty & The beast, Mulan (he created mushu!) etc.
Here’s a link to that book! https://www.amazon.com/Creating-Characters-Personality-Animation-Graphic/dp/0823023494#immersive-view_1577816623979
