We've been having issues as well. Our apartment walls have a slight texture to them, which in thinking is the issue. But we've had 4 fall repeatedly over the course of about 18 months ... 2 of which bent from falling which only makes them falling off eventually worse. Just ordered these magnets from Amazon, hoping it permanently solves the problem.
Do you have some that you'd recommend? I've been using these neodymium magnets, but I find even with multiple magnets my displates will slip a little bit because there is no friction between the magnet and displate. I ended up adding some double sided scotch tape to keep it from slipping and becoming crooked.
The screw in magnets are okay, but I have had some pull out of the wall and stay stuck to the displate when moving them. I use these now: one for top and one for bottom.

Unfortunately, these didn't stick to my apartment too well, even after I ordered the replacement magnets (which you can kind of see the leaf at the bottom of the picture). I had to use these and they're amazing - takes two of them to hold up one Displate.
yeah... 3 of my 4 large displate have fallen. 2 mag is not enough. 5 of these will make sure nothing fall.
Try these. I use them to supplement the stick on magnets though they'd work well on their own too
Idk where your live, but most big stores will sell them
Some people really like using command strips https://www.amazon.com/Command-Picture-Hanging-Strips-17206-ES/dp/B00404YKZI
In addition to the magnet for surface area means less chance for a complete failure.
I ordered these for some of the large displates.
If you really want to make sure they don't go anywhere, I think these might be your best choice
Don't know if this will help but... I used some of those flexible spring mount-bracket things for displaying expensive ceramic dining plates. Improvised. lol
Something like these: https://www.amazon.com/Rocky-Mountain-Hanger-Mounting-Hardware/dp/B06W2K2QC2/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=plate+hangers&qid=1651279147&sr=8-5 Don't know off-hand what ones I bought but I tend to rotate mine out every once in a while. Works fine and doesn't ruin the Displates.
I recommend these nails:

I have nailed some frames that weigh much more than displates with these.
I am talking about huge aluminum frames with glass cover.
Hi, i think the best way is a 47 cm x 34 cm frame (inner size). So you can put the displate perfectly in the frame (you can put the magnet on the woodenplate). I think the frame is also around 3-5 mm depth (I think there is a picture with actual sizes in the description).
You can contact the support for your desired size.
I hope this helps a little bit. Maybe you order only one frame for testing. And if it works you can order more of them.
I also have a textured wall. I bought these countersunk magnets off Amazon. I have basically the exact same texture on my walls too. This will prevent them from falling.
I personally only own two LEs (for now) and after researching the displate mounting system I decided to go a different route due to being worried it would damage them.
I decided to go with the following: Magnet Anchor, but I used a countersink screw with the anchor so it was flush.
I know a lot of folks don't want to put holes in their walls for various reasons, but tbh, filling such small holes with putty takes less than a minute. I've lived in a ton of apartments and even ones that mentions stuff about holes in the walls, I've never had an issue if I fill them. If the displate falls it can cause more damage than the little hole in the wall.
Agreed, I recently used some magnets that had countersunk holes for more permanent hangings.Countersunk Magnets
I use these: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B095Y8N4MQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Caution though you can only use these in two seperate 5M strings they dont come with the attachment too make one 10m Stripe out off them and only 1 Power source kinda meh.
For the UV Paint these are perfect the light can be pretty far away and you still will get great results. For the glow in dark Displates its better if the light shine directly onto them and is pretty close.
Tried using command strips with the glue side of the magnet, didn't end up working well long term even with a small size Displate.
I'd recommend supplementing the included magnets with a few of these to really make sure they stay in place: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074BP1FR8/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use "Neodymium Magnets with Hole." I prefer to put a hole in the wall for peace of mind. If you can't damage your wall then do go with Command Strips!
If it is an option for you, use two nails. One just in the middle may leave the magnet open to rotate around, if it's not pressed to the wall hard enough. Using two nails per magnet prevents it entirely.
As Brody122 mentions, be aware of the nails head. In order not to scratch the backside of your plate, predrill a little hole into the magnet, so that the nails head can sink in. I'm not sure what they are called in english, but this is what I mean:
Drill
If your wall is half way decent, your Displate should not come off unless your entire house is destoryed. Even if you change the Displate.
Good question actually, got mine a while ago.
Any LED strips should do I think (amazon?).
here they are available and cheaper at super stores and hardware stores. I see them all the time in stores.
It's found on here but they are available and cheaper at most super stores and hardware stores. You just stick it on the wall, to remove, there is a tab sticking out and you pull down the tab and it will just remove the stickiness without damaging the paint. Its made to not leave any damaging on the walls. I even use 4 to hang out 20 pound frames. They work well.

Gonna try these, but with longer screws and anchors. 2 should be enough for the Medium and Large sizes.
After having two LE's fall and damaged. I started using these command strips
How I apply them, I put both ends together, attach it to both sides of the displate, closest to the side so it will be very flat to the wall. Remove the tape on the other side of the strip and then put the poster over the magnet, adjust how you want it then press down on both sides for acouple of seconds. Let it sit for a few minutes before deciding to take the poster off the velcro strips or the strip will just come off the wall. But after that, it will look very flat on the wall better than it ever did with just the magnet.
Once upon a time. I would like this poster
I had one of the magnets fall off the wall, I may not have cleaned it well. But it caused me to find a better solution. I have 3 up in my office, the other 2 magnet mounts pulled some paint or left black on the wall.

I ended up using countersunk magnets (like these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MFCWIU6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Easier to patch a little screw hole and touch up paint than ripping paint off with the magnet sticker. HTH
If you do not want to send it back, you can get some countersunk magnets instead of using the mounting stuff that came with it. I have dimpled walls, so it kept falling off on me even though there was no damage. Used the countersunk magnets and all went well afterward. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071ZKQ2X5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Not sure about these but I'm using the commands strips - (https://www.amazon.ca/Command-Picture-Hanging-Strips-4-Strip/dp/B00HDFDJS0), only downside is that its hard to re-adjust with them.
I've used command strips on all of my displates (12 large) and they have worked wonders! I've moved a few times and haven't had any paint damage so far, but if the paint isn't too good of quality you may see some issues.
