I cannot talk highly of this strap enough. You only wear it when you are pumping, which means you can wear a normal bra the rest of the time.
For me what worked was using a larger size flange, these cushions, and lubrication/nipple balm. The cushions were the most crucial part for me, unfortunately they need to be replaced monthly so it does add up.
Oh in that case you may be like me and have elastic nipples. What I have to do is use the 28 and use these Basically my nipples can change in size as I pump and im between flange sizes. So this bridges the gap while giving my nipples space.
I highly recommend these pump cushions typically Id have to replace them every month because of EP so any I can get on sale is helping me out!
Also grabbed some disposable nursing pads for my inevitable leakage issues lol.
A sterilization station! All the bottles and nipples and various other parts that need to be sterilized daily (if not multiple times a day) really killed my hands with the scalding water, so this one on amazon was great to have.
This is the one I bought, though there are lots on amazon:

I had an oversupply with my first and did fine with the kindred bravely sublime hands free pumping and nursing bra. Overall the key is just to make sure it is tight enough around the band and the straps. Also the cheap ones that zip on work great- it’s just annoying taking it on and off every time. They have them at target. bra example
mommy’s bliss it was recommended by a friend and easy to get on Amazon and at Target. Only problem with it is that we have yet to figure out how to actually get the lid off and we’re on our second bottle 🤦♀️
The Medela Hand Pump is REALLY nice. I use it even after my mechanical pump to get that extra bit out that I can never seem to get out otherwise.
If you plan to be on the move a lot, maybe think about investing in one of the wearable pumps like the Elvie or Willow. Yeah, these are more expensive but I love being able to walk and pump at the same time. Again, these wearables rarely empty me out but the freedom is so wonderful.
I use these. They are marked to 9 oz but they fit about 11.5 if filled to the top. My average pump output is 12.5 oz per session so I store about one pump's worth in each bottle.
I get the bottles and boppies ready, sort of sitting between then, put my pump in front of me (and change the settings with my toes, haha) between their bobbies and then hold their bottles or use these pillows (which I would ONLY use under direct supervision) if I want to save my back.

It could be elastic nipples, but also your flanges are way too big if your nipples are hitting the end. I have elastic nipples and with the correct size flange, it won't do that. I found replacement flanges on Amazon. They have 24.5mm and 21mm. Only your nipple should be drawn into the flange, not the areola.

I also have a kindredbravely bra, but I find that my nipples poke through (A LOT) and it's uncomfortable. For 60 dollars a bra it's too much.
So I haven’t used the Nenesupply one, but I have a a similar one from Maymom and I LOVE it. I tried the whole separate-backflow-protector-thingy that comes with the Spectra a grand total of twice before swearing it off. I found the OEM backflow protector thing was too easy to get knocked off or grabbed by little hands. With the Maymom one, I leave the top “cap” hooked to my pump tubing 24/7 (since it doesn’t make contact with any milk) and just wash the connector and backflow membrane, so it ends up being less parts to wash. I also like that it’s stacked on top so there’s not so much protruding from my chest.
I personally went for the Maymom one over the Nenesupply one since it screws onto Medela bottles and I have a million of them.
Okay! I’m sold. Just bought one. For what it’s worth, I have this pump backpack and really like it. Teamoy Breast Pump Bag Backpack... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07S49775W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Had a bunch of pockets and fits my spectra and things perfectly
Yes I loved them! I got them on Amazon. I’ll put the link below. It didn’t increase my output but it made my nipples feel better because they were so raw from the plastic before. I just tried the lacteck baby motion flanges and those are gold! It empties your breast faster and I did notice increased output. So lots of different options out there!

I have the Lansinoh Signature Pro Double Electric Breast Pump. It comes with AC plug and battery compartment. This is the clip I ordered and super glued: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078T9RC54?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share.
My medela that I keep at the office had an external battery compartment but I would still have to carry around the actual pump. It's seriously life changing to be able to do other things while pumping!
For the pumping bra take one of your nursing bras, mark where your nipples are with a sharpie, and cut a slit big enough to fit flanges through. I've used these as hands free bras with 2/3 of my babies (I wish my dumbass brain thought of it with baby #1) and it has worked like a charm.
For the flanges you can do a Medela hack. Is the Spectra tubing, remove the connectors at the end, and attatch the end of the tubing to these https://www.amazon.ca/Maymom-Backflow-Protector-Spectra-Flanges/dp/B01E3W689M , and insert the long part of the backflow protectors into the Medela flange set. Medela parts are a dime a dozen and easier to find than Spectra. Before getting new sets measure your nipples.
If you want you can lube up the flanges with olive oil, and if they still hurt look into medicated nipple cream. It is pricey, but worth every penny.
If it doesn't work, just get a set of Maymom converters! They can be used to connect Lansinoh bottles with Spectra flanges, which are identical to Motif flanges (I have multiple sets of both and honestly don't know which is which).
Yes, we they even have these little can-sized fridges for pretty cheap on Amazon, thats what we use! It won't keep it quite as cold as a regular fridge but I'm comfortable with keeping bottles in there for one overnight stretch.

I got these and they work perfectly! I just pop them in the dishwasher to clean. The bottles can be shaken with the rubber spout on the bottle. Just make sure to cover the little hole on top.
I initially looked for large glass pitchers too but ended up settling for plastic ones that I could shake to mix (rather than stir, which seemed like an opportunity to introduce bacteria and also creates more dirty dishes!). The volume of the pitcher you need is also an important factor here. I was pretty content using the Dr Browns mixing pitcher for a while—until my daily supply started to surpass the max volume of 40 oz. Ended up getting some Rubbermaid 2-liter pitchers that get the job done.
I did have a recommendation on Amazon for a similar product with a glass pitcher, but it has a plastic lid, and I’m not sure if it is secure enough to shake. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HTN9QL3/

So it's been trial and error but here's what worked for me - do NOT try to 'power through' it is not going to get better and will probably get worse - work out what caused it, and stop doing that (this one was suction too high but previously the flanges were too big so the whole nip. Was getting immediately ripped into the flange on the first pump) - silverets and a lanolin nipple cream immediately - these extra strength nipple repare gel stickers - lower, slower, fewer pumps for a few days until it heels and then slowly build up to normal (minus whatever caused it)
I use this backflow plus this flange.
I have a little adapter that goes from the Spectra tubing to a Medela setup (flange + connector I got at the hospital + bottles). Would that do what you need? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D1XLSWR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
i got this one for $20 and a two pack of Lupantte for $36. The Lupantte is a perfect dupe, exactly the same as the Momcozy down to the tags it came with.

I just absolutely HATE my medela instyle. What trash for $250 smh
I pump while sitting on my bed and lay her down next to me. Ideally she’ll be asleep during my pump but if not, can feed her in that position or entertain her with black and white images, reading to her, or pressing the button on this simple yet effective toy over and over again. In case you’re not already wearing a bra that allows for double pumping, that’s a must for me for keeping the time as short as possible.
This is the only thing that helped me when I had that issue at one week pp! It’s so frustrating.
this one from Amazon is my main one, it took some adjusting of straps to get to that supportive but not squished state
I also have a kindred braverly triple nursing/pumping bra in busty hereIt’s okay. Expensive and is weirdly lumpy for wearing out, but is def good for me for pumping
>The pads in bras are a must every time I wear it. But it makes the itch worse so when I am home I can't tolerate it
yes i think stop that till itch is gone. I havent used this but when i was treating mine, i ordered these gel pads : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003IP2L38/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 you can check if this helps.
When the itch is ongoing just make sure to clean them out with saline spray after each pump and air dry before u put on any clothing. When you are home, try not to wear bra if u can, more the friction, more the itch. And do look into nipple balm : i use lansinoh one.
I use Medela parts, too (symphony). You just need long stem back flow protectors. example
I bought this one. It is $92 and also has a $10 off coupon. I’m guessing it’s an off brand of Momcozy S12 but I have had no issues with them and I am still pumping with them 6 months later
I use a glass mason jar, my mom has a bunch of them because she cans. I bought a top for it off Amazon. I love it, it’s been great for the last 6 months! County Line Kitchen - Mason Jar... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HTNQG6S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have been using these glass bottles from maymom for my lansinoh nipples: https://www.amazon.com/Maymom-Sealing-Included-Spectra-Container/dp/B07NR4F1HG/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?crid=23EXUJCRW4A1L&keywords=maymom+avent+bottles&qid=1662655359&sprefix=maymom+avent%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-11
I’ve also recently switched to silicon nurser pods for pumping (incase you are interested) to reduce plastic contact.
Just fyi. These lids are great and 100% leak proof. I love them for pitcher method. I have 3 and literally turn them upside done/shake them like crazy to get the fats blended and never have an issue.
Yep! According to the manufacturer, "Compatible Models: Replaceable duckbill valves for Medela and Spectra pump. Compatible with Spectra S2, Spectra S1, Spectra 9 Plus, Spectra Dew 350 and Medela breastpumps EXCEPT Medela Freestyle, Sonata and Swing-maxi.
Same Suction as the Original: We have tested that our duckbill valves are the same suction power as the Spectra and Medela valves. Designed to replace the breastpump duckbill valve every 3-6 months.
Fewer Parts to Wash: One Papablic duckbill valve replaces a Medela valve and a Medela membrane. Save money and fewer pump parts to wash and assemble."

You just buy these seal caps (can also buy on aliexpress) and they go where the motor for the momcozy normally goes. Then just push your tubing on. The genie advanced ends can just be wiggled out of the tube.
I wear my pumping bra all day but after my pre-bedtime pump I wear this bra from medela. It fits my shields pretty well and it gives my boobs a break from the less comfy hands free bra

YOU CAN RIG IT!
I do it with my freestyle flex and symphony.
Just buy back flow protectors and extra set of tubing for your pump in style. Cut the end of the tubing, attach to back flow protectors, then back flow protector into your parts!
long stem back flow protectors
this is for max flow. Not sure which one you have. I think the one in the bag uses the same parts as symphony.
I agree with everyone else that this sounds intentional and god i'd be furious. I would suggest getting something like this to put on a shelf. I love it because I can keep the bottles/bags in order and use the oldest first.
I ended up getting the Elvie Stride that included the carrying bag, but before that, I purchased this for my Spectra. Perhaps this would also work for the Elvie?
5 or 6 dr brown's bottles, though I often have a drink for myself or some other type of bottle mixed in. I haven't bothered storing flanges becuase I have 3 sets and wash them twice a day without any need to store. With a squattier bottle type, flanges might be able to fit on top.
This is the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079VQXTJH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's only real flaw is that it's a little loud, but the the noise is kind of an indicator that it's still on, which is helpful because I accidentally unplugged it once!
If this was me here's what I'd do!
I'd pump in the car in the first hour, lid up the bottles straight from the pump and put them in an insulated lunch bag with a big ice pack, I've got this bag so I can pump and and put the bottles away really easily in the passenger seat
When we stop I'd put the bottles in a bigger cool box with a few ice packs and just shut it as soon as possible, then as soon as I got any where with a fridge or a freezer I'd put the milk in and re freeze the packs as long as I could
Then I'd try and do the same the next few pumps
Milks good 4hrs at room temperature and upto 24hrs in a cool box with ice packs so I'd be happy it should be good to go in the fridge that day as long as they're still chill to the touch.
Team cooler with ice packs here. I'm not a big fan of buying a bunch of stuff for pumping, especially if it's lifespan ends when you wean. Ceres chill is vv expensive & is super nice if you're flying/ traveling regularly without access to a freezer, but that doesn't sound like your situation and you need something for bottles. I love the big flexible gel ice packs from Amazon & I've been using the heck out of an rtic cooler the last few years. A great combo that keeps my 32oz mason jar & several bottles cold (and some snacks & extra drinks for you). Plus, you can use it infinitely for snacks and beverages after you're done. Not affiliate links - just a few tried and true products I love:
I use these bottle and have a spectra that this works on as well. I also tried the picture method but thats just not for me. Im don't have an over supply can barely keep up with LO feeding. Im usually just 3-4 feedings ahead. So the bottles come super handy.
Is this the kit you’re talking about?
If it is, I believe the membrane is the same as the Spectra replacement membranes, which can be replaced separately for much cheaper. I bought something similar for my Freestyle and this was the case.
So elastic nipples:. Typically these do better with silicone flanges! First off: measure your nipple diameter (someone else in the comments linked to a good one so use that!). Silicone flanges are sized a little differently, so use that measurement and then order according to pumpin pals'/lacteck's/pumpables size guide.
Here are a few options that should work with the Luna:
1) Order pumpin' pals flanges, use with the pumpin pals to motif Luna adapter they sell
2) Order lacteck baby motion flanges, use with an aftermarket spectra adapter - this one by momcozy should work! (https://www.amazon.com/Maymom-Widemouth-Connector-Compatible-PersonalFit/dp/B07WD385MM/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=pumpin+pals&qid=1659876031&sr=8-3) This adapter will work with the Luna's backflow protector and bottles
3) Order the pumpables liquid kit - use the tubing from the kit with your Luna instead of the Luna's tubing for these to work.
I'm less familiar with medela pumps, but if yours has a two piece flange where the flange can be separated from the part where milk flows to the bottle, you should be able to attach a pumpin pals or lacteck flange to those and use that.
bemybreastfriend on insta has elastic nipples and lots of posts about the setup she uses for them!
Could you get a silicone insert for the flange? I got these to use with my Elvie but I’m also sticking em in my spectra because I didn’t feel like ordering more flanges
When my baby was first born, we actually did freeze milk in regular ice cube trays. Each cube holds about an ounce. It was great in the early days when we had no idea how much she would eat at a given time. When we needed to warm milk for her, we put 1-3 cubes in deli containers like these and microwaved them. This was fine for short-term storage, but they took up a lot of space even when the ice cubes were put into Ziplock bags or something.
At some point we started freezing in milk bags (4 ounces/bag) and that's how the majority of my milk is stored now. Milk takes up much less space when stored flat in milk bags. My daughter is 6 months old and still typically takes 3-4 ounces per feeding when drinking expressed milk. About a month ago, we started freezing in a few other quantities because she had a sudden uptick in consumption. Thawing out 4 ounces when she really needed a 2-ounce top up was frustrating.
We now have some milk frozen in smaller quantities (2 or 3 ounces) specifically for those needs, but it is all in milk bags. The milk bags transport easier, thaw easier, and seem to store better overall.
On the suggestion of someone on this sub, I got this battery about 6 weeks ago:
I Velcro it to the bottom of my Spectra and it’s worked great so far!
This bra isn’t the most supportive but it’s the only one I’ve found that fits and holds the flanges in place well.
Get a 7 cu ft at least. My situation is extremely similar to yours. I filled a 7cu ft chest freezer in 10-12 weeks with 60000ml milk.
I say “at least” 7 cu ft because…
you will ALSO need to think about freezer space for the frozen milk that’s at the hospital. You will get it at discharge. It will not be stored as space efficiently. At the hospital I’m at, every baby had a few bins of milk containers. So they were able to say “you have X full bins and each bin has dimensions are Y”. You’ll likely go through the cubic feet of hospital-stored milk faster bc it’s not stored in a space efficient manner. So could make do with your existing freezer. I bought a 3.5cu ft chest freezer though.
if you are truly targeting 3 months worth of frozen milk for two babies, you probably need to get something much larger than 7cu ft. I think three months of milk for twins is closer to 135,000mL. (3 months * 30 days per month * 750 ml per baby per day * 2 babies = 135000 ml milk).
Tangentially -
Ask the nicu lactation consultants when you can drop pumps. You’ve got wiggle room to see what it does for your supply. (It may even go up). Nicu stays are stressful and the sooner you can get a full nights sleep and do things other than pumping, the better.
Medela bags aren’t very space efficient especially filled at capacity. I switched to lansinoh bags, filled to 120ml max, froze them flat between toddler plates so they stack more efficiently. (TeamFar Kids Plates Set of 6,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0854K58V6).
Buy one of these and put it in the diaper bag. You can choose from a few sizes. The whole lunch bag/snack bag etc is freezable. It’s what I use to get my pumped milk home in because I was frustrated with having to manage so many ice packs.

YESSS to the mini fridge! I got this one, it’s perfect, holds about 4 bottles, very small, quiet, and affordable:

Oh you poor soul, its awful
I used to get intense shooting pains anytime I even stepped outside no matter how many layers I put on, silverets helped MASSIVELY, stopped hurting anytime I was wearing them
For tears I used these patches no idea what's in them but they were magical
I used lanolin nipple cream lots and I used a lower suction for longer until the tears had healed
The absolute game changer for me was silicone flange inserts, 1 size down and the vasospasims stopped even without the shields, 2 sizes down and I cut my pumping time IN HALF, 3 sizes down and my nips go back to a normal size after pumping, (I just thought they'd be 2cm long for the entire year) no milk build up. I haven't had a tear in months and I can now start the pump at the recommended level instead of super low and working up
Some of this will likely be just my body getting used to pumping over time but hopefully it helps!
Im curious as well about the dark spots cause I have them too! As for the white in the center I was told it's a build up of like dead skin, dried milk etc and I actually bought these (I'm gonna try to post a link with this) and when I would shower I'd use these lil scrubbers to clean my nips
I use the blue one out of the round set here. Be warned though, my pump parts only barely fit, I squish them in there because my flanges are silicone. If yours are hard plastic you may want a size up!
I give my baby day old milk since before I started, like you I just put them in a bag in the fridge and somehow it just kinda stuck like that. So I would fill a jar on 6/9, prep her bottles and then I would fill the jar for 6/10. Once midnight hits, any extra in the jar from 6/9 I would freeze and then I would prep the bottles from 6/10 milk and fill a new jar for 6/11.
I learned at one of these communities to buy a battery pack for my spectra. Now I’m never connected to the outlet and have the freedom to pump anywhere, including the car.

I use this pumping spray by Coboo and I find pumping with it virtually painless. The actually breast feeding is only painful for me if the baby slips off his good latch or gets a bad/shallow latch though.
I find pumping easier still and with literally no pain at all.
I use Lacteck flanges with spectra pump, and all it needs is this adapter. I find it easier to clean than the full flange anyway.
I also did a big lunch bag for everything. I just stored in the bottles we used for feeding. I just combined until I made a full feeding then would start on the next bottle. That way I could use the same collection bottles throughout the day. I only used the storage bags if I forgot bottles or didn't bring enough bottles (I highly suggest stashing extras in your pump bag and extras of all parts too. Saved my butt so many times)
I was on pharmacy rotations so I had to do a different storage set up every 4 weeks. For rotations where there wasn't a fridge or no fridge room I used these thin kona ice packs because the were slim enough to line the sides of the bag. Because they are thin they also froze super quickly.
We used mam bottles so they were 2 big to fit in any of the bottle specific coolers. So can't speak to those at all.
I use this Momigo backpack so I can take it to work as well. I normally leave this by the couch with pump parts in and then I set snacks and water on a table by the couch.

This is the one that I use and love. Also really great as an overnight bag too. I use an army of gallon zip top bags to keep stuff organized. I can fit my spectra pump and pump parts in there easily.
Second this OP! Your nipples are not necessarily the same size, so measure to make sure you don’t need a different flange. I had the wrong size for months and SO. MUCH. PAIN. Lol
I also recommend Lacteck silicone flanges! I use spectra also, so I have these flanges with this adapter.

I use one of my husband's mugs. Usually, it's for after her therapy so it's only about 1.5hrs between heading the water and warming the bottle, I've not tried it longer than that. Over time, I've figured out 3mins in my microwave is a good temp to not overheat the bottle if I put it in the water 30 mins before therapy ends. I use a skinny preemie Dr brown bottle since it's just a snack, but a standard Dr brown bottle fits it just barely.

I use this as my work pump bag. It has a side pocket specifically for a Spectra style pump. Inside it has insulated bottle pockets to keep your milk cool or warm. It has two big pockets for accessories and a nice sturdy carrying strap. We recently flew to visit relatives and I brought this bag. It worked great!
Yep.
Carrington Farms Organic Virgin Cold Pressed Coconut Oil for Cooking, Nutrient Dense, Unrefined, Perfect for Baking or Sauteing Vegetables, 54 Fl Oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CPZPYLS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_MEAVQ3145872CS6SH2MN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I put warm water in a large tubberwear and sit the container in there for a while. Punch a hole in the seal and pour the coconut oil into a squeezable travel bottle. Usually best to do it at night so it can solidify a bit before you use it.
I got something very similar to this from the Walmart travel section for like a dollar or two. Had to mess up the seal on the inside a bit so the coconut oil could get out when it's thick.

Ive kept bricks of frozen milk frozen for 6+ hours with a decent quality cooler and a few gallon zip bags of ice. I use a coleman 24hr soft sided cooler with 2 gallon bags of ice. I use a slightly larger cooler than needed so i can fit more ice in.
With this method, the milk stays 99% frozen.
The cooler i use for 1 gallon zip bag brick of milk(16×4oz of lanisoh bags frozen flat) plus 2 half full gallon zips of ice cubes:
Coleman Soft Cooler Bag | Keeps Ice Up to 24 Hours | Insulated Lunch Cooler with Adjustable Shoulder Straps | Great for Picnics, BBQs, Camping, Tailgating & Outdoor Activities https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C3VB9TE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_i_51SEB4RVKC1VN24WWS7H?psc=1
9can version doesnt have the weird window in the top, its solid.
Is it already frozen?
As long as its still got ice crystals it'll be fine to re-freeze when you get there. I'd get 2-3 ice packs in an insulated lunch bag and just not opening the bag till you get there
I use this type with two ice packs and it regularly keeps chilled milk cold for 10hrs for me
Try wearing two pumping bras at the same time. I use the Kindred Braverly bras and then put a Velcro pumping bra over it just while I pump. It helps so much. Like this one. Pump Strap Pumping Bra Hands Free, Adjustable Breastfeeding Bra, Strapless Nursing Bra for Pumping Handsfree https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01A51UYEK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_FYPNAE1J1M7GPF5D80CJ
I have the same problem. I use Earth Mama nipple butter on my nipples before I get geared up and it helps a lot with nipple pain.
I use these. They’re pretty good for the price. Looks like they’ve changed it slightly since I bought mine as mine look more like a sports bra.

Love this one!! It has been the best purchase I’ve made so far to help me keep pumping! It’s really easy to use and fits a ton of bottles and parts!
This is the one I got- was recommended to me by this sub, and has lots of reviews by spectra users. I just got some industrial strength velcro and attached it to the bottom.
It's great, the charge lasts for several days, even pumping 6-7 times at 30-40min each.

Definitely possible to relactate, especially when birth was this recent. Pump 7-8 times a day, either while baby is eating or while baby is sleeping. Eat a ton, especially protein, and drink a TON of water, add some coconut water for the electrolytes. Try for at least a 4 hour stretch of sleep, but remember prolactin is usually high between 10 pm and 5 am, so a pump or two during that time will go a long way!
Definitely do some research before trying, but my LC recommended this herbal supplement for building up healthy breast tissue. I’ve heard great things about this one also on this sub.
Really good advice already! I’ll list mine here, too, so you can see things that have worked for multiple people. - Triple check flange size, I was using too big for months - Drink tons of water and some coconut water for the electrolytes - Eat tons of food, protein especially helps me - Try to get at least a 4 hour stretch of sleep, even if that means dropping one MOTN session - Hand expression techniques like gentle massage and kneading while pumping can help remove more milk and trigger additional letdowns - Maybe try an herbal supplement with galactagogues? I use and love this one, and have heard great things about this one.
I have 2 of these that I use on rotation w/ 32 oz mason jars and they have lasted for 2 years with daily cleaning in the dishwasher. Definitely worth it!
If you have an over supply and need to store additional milk, I've also used these caps to keep milk fresh until I'm able to freeze it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086D7JX5V/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_65JC55EXPSJQBC9S6RBJ
If you haven’t already, look into hand expression techniques to use for more hands-on pumping. Gently kneading and massaging while pumping can remove more milk and trigger additional letdowns, maybe that can help maximize the pumps per day you are able to fit in. If you are ever able to fit in an extra session for a few days or a week, that could mimic cluster feeding and boost you supply.
Not your first experience, so you know eating and drinking a TON of water helps. Coconut water is great to keep you hydrated because of the electrolytes. I never had luck with lactation snacks or teas, but I think a good herbal supplement can really help. I use this one, but I’ve heard good things in this sun about legendairy supplement, too.
I haven’t personally used this one since I switched but this one is super popular on Instagram etc for easy pour!

I increased my supply by power pumping every other day then just 1x a week and drinking these EVERYDAY, along with oatmilk or oatmeal. HUGE DIFFERENCE. i am still pumping and son is 7 months. I pump 7-10 oz in one session. and i am now able to go 4-6 hours between pumps.

This one is very large and I just roll it up so the length or longer horizontal side goes across my whole chest. I’m a big lady and when folded this way, it reaches across and I tuck the edges under my arm pits lol
Nurses were the opposite of helpful. I had noooo idea what was going on, and every nurse and LC whi came in gave wildly different advice. I would meet with an LC I trust ahead of time for advice, then schedule an appointment a few days, then a few weeks PP next time.
Something I did not know was that your milk takes time to come in. What you are making first is a small amount of very thick, rich colostrum. Pumping that is crazy - WHY did they tell me to do that? It all stuck in the pump parts with nothing at the bottom to “pour” in bottle for baby. IMO you are better off with a colostrum collector. I tried hand expressing at the time and felt weird about it.. but I wish I had stuck with trying that. Hands down the next best way for baby to get the most colostrum aside from directly nursing.
We also have one of these: Portable Power Station 100W, Portable Laptop Charger 146Wh/39600mAh,Backup Lithium Battery Box quiet with USB-C ,Power Bank with AC Portable Outlet Power Supply for Tent Camping VanLife Adventures https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0914W5FLC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EQJN1E7JMQ2XMJCG0V5Z?psc=1
As a portable power supply backup for when the power goes out. The 100w version easily powers the pump for dozens of half hour sessions on a full charge, plus it has USB and other inputs which is great for charging other devices like phones in the car, while camping, or when the power goes out.
Getting the right size of flange has been so challenging for me. Let me share my experience in case it is of help to you:
That’s carpal tunnel. Conservatively treat for now. Buy a splint from amazon and wear 24/7 as much as you can. Repetitive motions can cause it. Same with pregnancy hormones.

If it doesn’t resolve, the next step would be steroid injection (pretty simple actually, but you will need some medical friends to do it for you).
