I use “Snout Soother” on my frenchie’s nose and it is amazing! Bought it on Amazon.

Crate training was a bit simpler for us when we bought a hot water bottle (wrapped it in one of our shirts) and a snuggle puppy (which simulates a heartbeat). The snuggle puppy also has a heat pack, but we didn’t really think that part worked well and went with the hot water bottle instead. We went through three nights of torture, to him settling down in two minutes. It was great.
Amazon has it:
SmartPetLove Snuggle Puppy Behavioral Aid Toy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NVDDXM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GBGLEbXFNHZE1
Also, lots of stuff to chew on (natural alternatives are great, antlers or dried fish skins), and a comfy bed for the crate, shampoo for baths, toothbrush and toothpaste to get them used to regular teeth cleanings, and we put poop bags on reoccurring order with amazon - they go fast! Oh and a harness for walks. :)
Enhanced Pet Bowl - Stainless... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015NGFUGY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have one for my Frenchie and it works well, but it’s so overpriced ($35) and is cheaply made (very thin metal). When mine licked the bowl in the center, the metal is so thin that it bows in and makes a noise kind of like when you squeeze an empty soda can. So then he was afraid of it lol. We had to rig up some cardboard underneath and duct tape it on to provide support so it wouldn’t make the scary noise. Now he eats from it like a champ but for $35, it would be nice if we didn’t have to MacGyver it to make it usable.
I started cleaning my frenchie's wrinkles with these, and I don't see anymore issues. But taking your pup to the vet would be a good idea. These are more for prevention.

Clearly you already have her ticket so you’re fine there. I have a great carrier from Chewy with wheels which makes moving around the airport a breeze. I’ve only flown Southwest where I can confirm it fits but you might need additional confirmation regarding Delta. My girl is 24 lb so your puppy should have no problem. It’s also easy to sneak their little head out. My girl likes to sleep on flights with her face right on my foot. We’ve never taken a long flight but I’m guessing with a puppy you can get away with sneaking Luna out for some lap snuggles. Just make sure to bring something she can drink water out of. https://www.chewy.com/kopeks-deluxe-travel-airline-approved/dp/218954?utm_medium=email&utm_source=transactional&utm_campaign=ShippingConfirmation

Edited to say: that’s a real cutie you have there 🥰
Brush your dogs coat more often. Amazon sells a great product that my Alice loves. Essentially they are gloves designed to remove excess hair.

This is similar to the Fable Pet Dispenser. My pup has one and loves it for treats. It’s half the price. The large size holds up to 3 cups of dry food.
We bought a cover for the backseat that extends from the seat to the middle console and then has a little divider. We liked it because it essentially flattened out the backseat, and then we used his normal bed on top. Also used a seatbelt that connected to his harness. link to backseat thing
Anything plain, pure pumpkin. If you make it yourself, don’t use any seasonings. They also make a dehydrated pumpkin powder called Firm Up. It is a little more pricey, so that’s why I just go right to the pure pumpkin from the grocery store.

This is what Tako (light tan) the one with his paw up, wears. The small fits him perfectly.
I have a pitty who had problems with the easy walk. We had much better luck with the freedom harness. It can be adjusted better and it seems to fit broad chested dogs better. I’m not 100% sure they sell them in smaller sizes but it’s worth a look.
We have been using a cheap $12 step in harness from amazon that fits our frenchie really well. This one: https://www.amazon.com/Voyager-Best-Pet-Supplies-Step/dp/B07K4VSSTZ/ref=zg_bs_2975341011_14?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=96WP7HMA3ZN5CW37N77E
It’s not a no pull harness but it’s comfortable for him.
If they give you the Duloxetene wipes, just go on Amazon and buy 2% Chlorhexidine solution and wipe down 1-2x/day and then once every few days as maint when cleared. A bottle like this will last us over a year vs $30 pads that last a month.

Amazon! I think I bought the large. A bit pricey but worth the $$$. Still in good shape after 4 years.
Oh I just realized I got this one - it fits the legs well since it's meant to be cropped (but is more full length on frenchie) but it covers her butthole

At first i had a harness like the one you pictured, and my little guy didn't seem to want to urinate on walks with it. So then i bought a step in harness like this one

You need some wipes with Chlorhexidine, antibacterial, and Ketoconazole which is antifungal. The Chlorohexidine needs to be at least 2% and the Ketoconazole 1%. These are the best anti bacterial/fungal medications you can get OTC. Here is one example on Amazon, they are the cheapest 50 pack of wipes that have the right concentrations I could find. https://smile.amazon.com/Antifungal-Antibacterial-Medicated-Wipes-Dogs/dp/B07KRXKT76/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=1G4Y49HJ20RBV&keywords=antifungal+wipes+for+dogs&qid=1658810291&sprefix=antifungal+wipes%2Caps%2C154&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyNE5EWUk3QzFET0pEJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwODQ1MjM4MkU5MFlTVFpCM0xMSCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTQwNTE5UzNHVlJRVVhEVVg0JndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==.

I use an Antiseptic & Antifungal medicated shampoo, my pups mom had a really bad skin reaction that has lasted 4 years until we started giving her this Shampoo and Nexgard which is a chewable flea tablet. Both of those combined helped stop the itching. As a preventative measure I use the same shampoo on her pups and they react great to it.
Ours HATED the plastic cone post surgery so we bought him an inflatable donut which he still didnt enjoy but was way better than the plastic cone. We then got him a dog surgical recovery suit (plenty on amazon) which was the way to go. He couldn't get to the stitches (not that I think Frenchies mouths can even reach there, lol) and seemed way more comfortable not having anything around his neck. If we left him unsupervised while still having the stitches we would pop on the donut.

We love these. Can also be paired with a cleaning solution but this is to ensure there's no moisture after bath time to avoid infections. They work extremely well.
I would say frenchton and agree that the ears point towards Boston genes, but it looks like he's still growing so the head shape may change! I think head shape is the most telling sign of Boston genes. Also, black and white Frenchies very rarely have standard Boston color distribution and usually have more white on their bodies, your pup looks to have a more standard Boston distribution. You can always test him for fun! https://www.chewy.com/dna-my-dog-breed-identification-dna/dp/156764?utm\_source=google-product&utm\_medium=organic&utm\_campaign=%7Bcampaignid%7D&utm\_content=DNA%20My%20Dog&utm\_term=%7Bkeyword%7D&show-search=1

I have this one for my Frenchie. Works amazing and he doesn’t inhale his food. He had issues with reflux before and this was a game changer for him.
I’d also recommend using a harness instead of a collar. Frenchies are like babies mixed with a bodybuilder, they’ll pull so hard that they can choke themselves pretty badly.
Due to high likelihood your frenchie has some allergies, I’d also recommend buying an allergy test kit. This will save you thousands of dollars in the long run, I guarantee it.

It turned out she had grain allergies. We switched her food to a raw diet of turkey and chicken that was locally produced by Darwins Pets. Her outbreaks cleared up in less than a month and we were able to maintain her good health for 13 years until she passed at 15. I hope this is helpful and you can get her healthy and comfortable soon.
I wasn't going to reply as last time I gave advice on this sub I was called out. But this is such a problematic issue, I'll.offer free advice and it's worth the price you pay. Ours has been scratching his ear so badly he yelps. I used to get tissue and clean it for him which was some temporary relief. We also tried mite spray from the vet but that also was only temporary. What has recently worked wonders though is this stuff from amazon. The wax has ended up coagulating in the entrance to his ear making cleaning super easy and literally all scratching has stopped! It's only a few quid and worth a shot.

IVDD surgery should be covered by insurance but is $6,000 - $10,000. Nares surgery to help their breathing is common too.
Apoquel and Cytopoint are both common allergy treatments. Ear infections happen, toe yeast is common too. Some dogs need their anal glands done too.
It's very unpredictable :(

I’m assuming you’re asking because you’re looking for a long term solution. My boy is about 26.5 lbs and he fits in this carrier just fine even though he’s past the weight limit. I suggest replacing the shoulder strap on this one, otherwise it’s great quality. He’s eaten through a different mesh carrier, no problems with this one

Something I can answer! Just got home to Mexico from Dallas on American airlines with a 90 day old Frenchy. Bought the largest one of these and worked fine. Gave him a full kids benadryl and he slept the whole way. That was key!
If you decide to go with the Purina, go with the Lamb as it has no beef or poultry. It still has other common allergens, so if it doesn't work out you might try Taste of the Wild (only the Pacific Stream) as it's better quality food with no common allergens.
I am not the OP but I use a similar booster seat for my frenchie. This one at Amazon. I got the large size, I think it was about $83 when I got it. It hovers around $85-90 from what I’ve seen. It sits up tall enough that she can see out of the windows, which keeps her calm. And it’s got nice walls to keep her contained and comfy. The seatbelt hooks through the chair under the cushion and there are 2 clips to leash them to the booster. You could probably fit 2 pups, but they would have to snuggle. I wanted her to have a nice space if we took long road trips so I went for the large. The side wall foam is dense, not soft, so it holds its shape well.
Before this car seat she was always pulling and straining trying to climb into my lap while I drove. She hated the back seat too. Now she rides in her throne in the backseat and is so happy, and I don’t have to worry.

I use Purina Pro Plan Small Breed Puppy food for my Boston Terrier, and it’s amazing! It’s AKC recommended and he’s doing fantastic on it. It’s really high quality food. It’s a little pricey, but a big bag will last you months with a small dog. The bag even has a little frenchie on it lol. You can get it off of Chewy, and if you sign up for renewal on delivery, you’ll save a couple bucks.

But if they prescribe Prednisone at all, don't let them keep your dog on it too long. Mine developed calcinosis cutis, which is pretty horrible and not something you want a loved pet to get at all. I'll let you Google that one.
What about this? It is protein-led, and the only potential allergen in it is beetroot.

She’s appx 22 pounds and a size small is just a little too small for her. It’s cozy though, she fell asleep immediately after I put it on. I’ve read some people put panty liners in so you aren’t constantly washing them. And buy at least two, for the same reason. These ones have no tail hole which is perfect for her.
If the discoloration of the nose bothers you, don't worry. It sorts itself out as they grow. But good sea kelp at any age can help keep it deep and dark: My go to.
We washed him in this shampoo and had him stand in the water for like 10 mins it is pretty effective.
It's made by a company called Bestia. I bought it off Amazon.

Someone else recommended these pectin+probiotic tablets for our girl who had constant bloody stool and they worked miracles. But obviously I’m not a vet and ymmv
Mine has issues with kibble choking her too. I ended up going with an Iams canned dog food. I water it down and she does really well with it.

Three words: HATCH. SOUND. MACHINE
For what it is worth, these Nylabone Pacifiers really helped. My Pepper would chew on them for hours.
I don’t know if this will help solve your problem, but this is what I know.
Yesterday I had my Frenchie into the vet for her yearly check-up and vaccinations. The vet commented on how great her teeth looked, and the fact she has no signs of tarter anywhere. I told the vet I brush her teeth twice a week, which she was happy to hear.
I then asked the vet why she always has a mild bad breath then when I feel like I’m doing my job and her teeth are great. The vet explained that this is not uncommon, and that no matter how clean their mouths/teeth are, some dogs will always have bad breath as it can come from their stomach.
For reference and I don’t know if you can get it, this is the toothpaste I use twice a week which smells really good!

Everyone will tell you get pet insurance - I agree it’s worth it! But for more ~fun~ tips - Frenchies are so loyal, loving and smart! My pup loves to do puzzles and brain games. Frozen Kongs and puzzles like this one are perfect. They are SO food motivated it makes training easier than a lot of other breeds. I can hold a handful of kibble and that is enough to motivate her to do whatever I want. I would also invest in some stairs like these, jumping down from couches and beds can be hard on thier little spine and hips. If you introduce the stairs early, they won’t know any other way to get down from furniture. Lastly, my Frenchie is 9 months old now and I cannot imagine my life without her. Your Frenchie is going to bring you love and joy that you cannot even imagine!! Congratulations and give your pup a belly rub from me!
So my 2.5 year old frenchie has always been picky with dry food. I had her on Royal Canin, Blue but she always had leftover. I switched to Taste of the wild Appalachian about a year ago and she likes it better but her bowel movement was always running. I had her on Taste of the Wild Wetlands 4 months ago and she's absolutely loving it! https://www.chewy.com/taste-wild-wetlands-grain-free-dry/dp/181313
My Frenchie did this. I bought some spray and sprayed it on his paws, and he stopped immediately.
Here's what I used:
Chlorhexidine Spray
It’s going to depend best on how your dog likes to sleep! Mine appreciates multiple positions and curling up so a bolster bed is what we got her. We have other beds around, the flat kind without edges along it, but she seeks out the couple of bolster beds we have around.

Yep same here. Also recommend chlorhexidine wipes. We have an Amazon subscription that lasts a month (for 2 frenchies) and clean their feet nightly. Not 100% but their feet stay healthy!

We got her a large (she's a small girl at about 9KG) ... It's a bit to big I think, but it'll work.
Congrats! My girl was also the runt (but we don’t use that word around her 😂). Some tips! -they all start quiet. Enjoy it while you can. They grow into their personality fast. Once they learn their voice…they’ll use it. A lot. -lots of frenchies hate crags. My breeder actually recommended not using one. Instead, we left her in a small wire pen with a litter box. She could move around a bit and see me, had a bed, a place to potty, and water. It made giving her free range of the apartment eventually soooo much easier. And I really think it calmed her separation anxiety. -The gas is normal, my girl hates the slow feeder bowl but this one from Amazon works wonders: JWPC Bulldog Bowl Anti-Slip Dog Cat Dish Detachable Rubber Dog Bowl Pet Sterile Tilted Pet Feeder Slope Base / White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MMWSBL3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_T5DNXZEFS66V7D8R2A5W
Enjoy your angel! They really are the best.

Our frenchie is absolutely obsessed with Chuckit glow in the dark balls. He loves gnawing on them but they are also incredibly bouncy, so he’ll chase them around the dog park or yard. We keep back-ups at home because he has a meltdown if he loses one. This is the ball - link
Be very careful with this... dogs' skin has a different pH level than humans which is why there are dog specific shampoos. We bathe him once a week in DermaChlor 4. We buy it from the vet or from the online pet pharmacy. It smells good and works amazingly on him. Never an issue since we've started on this shampoo. For conditioner we use Groomer's Best Moisture Magic (here). He also gets an additional bath if he needs one like after swimming or a messy hike. Sunday baths are routine here though and the weekly maintenance keeps his sensitive skin happy.
Amazon! This is our second one. Our older dog peed in the first one so many times it eventually fell apart after washing. After 6 months or so.
When our Frenchie has skin allergies, our vet recommended we soak her feet in Douxo shampoo with Chlorahexidine Amazon for a few minutes twice a week until it heals. I purchased the Curaseb XL wipes too for cleaning her up after being out in the yard. It works! Hope your puppy heals fast. Poor Baby!
We got our Frenchie this one off Amazon, it’s perfect. She absolutely loves water and swimming, have no worries with her in this.

They don't need to cost a lot. We went through three expensive harnesses before finding the perfect harness for him at a store like the dollar store for even less than this one.
