I was in a large detached shed/garage before moving to my current home and now have a garage gym.

The shed was not insulated and had a concrete slab. Based on my experience with this previous structure I would consider:

• Pour concrete slab and build shed around it
  • Manufactured sheds from Lowe's or Home Depot have particle board style floors, so even with good mats and your platform they may not hold up
• Reinforce floor of manufactured shed
  • If the above isn't an option, consider applying another layer of plywood + horse stall mats w/your platform to make the delivered floor stronger
• A*ccessible beams*
  • I install a ~1" diameter pipe between rafters for a pull up bar and it was great. Also helpful to mount rings or other strap style workout items
• Batter powered blower
  • With this being outdoors, dirt, chalk, leaves, bugs, etc. will get in there. Easy to quick clean with a blower
• Mount a heater
  • I never did this or insulated, but should have. I have this infrared heater in my current gym and it makes a big difference.

Have you ever used/seen/heard of the Thera Cane Massager? Might not be as good as this thing you got but it works really well without an extra pair of hands and it's $30.
