So I have a big ass piece of mopani sloping from the bottom-back-left corner to the upper-front-right corner of my terrarium and then a piece of ghostwood underneath propping it up. You might even be able to lean it on the paracord you have there. Wedge it in just right and it'll prop up nicely and then your foliage will surround it once it grows in! Your reptile will LOVE all the hiding places created by the hardscape.
Is it digital or analog? If it’s the one with the dial, take it out and get a digital probe. The analog dial readers can be WILDY inaccurate. This is the light I use. There are two sizes. It gives off no heat, by the way.
