If you need to mince some serious piles of garlic, bite the bullet and buy the best, not like I did ordereing a frustrating string of the cheap ones. They all let me down until the Kuhn Ricon showed up several years ago.
It will crush as many cloves as you can stuff in the hopper, and then, open it up and toss into the middle rack of your dishwasher.
It's heavy enough for Zombie defense, too.
