This is really helpful!
I love that they give fun stuff - I think such a big purchase should come with some perks. I was looking forward to that experience when I first made the decision last year (pre-COVID).
I'm from LA but moved up north and haven't been back in a few months, but I was planning on calling the GS Store on Rodeo initially to order and have it shipped if I'm unable to visit in person - your comment further validated that.
He doesn't have any "fancy" watches yet. I bought him a Seiko Men's SNK809 Seiko 5 when we were first dating and he LOVES that thing. He wears it everyday. I know he prefers the leather strap, but I do like the option of giving him a bracelet (Snowflake) as well and giving the option to swap out for the black croc leather. This watch is more for everyday - but I'm sure he will baby the heck out of it and save it for more formal occasions and important business meetings.
I have this from Amazon Comes with 5 sets of different sizes tips. Good quality for the price.
Morcoxina Precision Screwdriver... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QGJDH9K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
there’s a 1.5 on here that works for the polish/brushed bracelets and there’s a 1.0 that works for the oyster style full-brushed bracelets.
Nope, I just got the cheapest ones from Amazon (link below)! I know watchmakers use Bergeon screwdrivers, but they’re like $70 for a set of 5. Buying a cheap loupe may help too, although I didn’t use one.
