I also forgot to mention that ginger candy's have been my best friend to help with IBS symptoms/nausea, and stomach cramping. Ginger has a calming effect on the stomach and the GI tract. What's nice about using it as medicine is I suck on a few of them until my symptoms relieve and they work wonders. I think while introducing new foods and trying out new things, you can have a few ginger candy's to help combat the symptoms you're having. The brand I use is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074QWYW5F?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k0_1_7&amp=&crid=33KJB05L0MPJM&amp=&sprefix=gem+gem and they are delicious! Slightly spicy with a sweet mango flavor. Made with real ginger and no extra BS added. There are other flavors as well!
Just had the wife deal with H. Pylori.
She almost wiped it out completely with diatomaceous earth. Diatemaceous Earth Food Grade
It is safe for humans but apparently lacerates the shells of parasites.
No antibiotics. And took a lot of L. Rueteri probiotics.

Something like this is better suited. 20mg is next to nothing and is probably why you aren't seeing relief. You need to take betaine and digestives with EACH meal.
Just mostly eating plants:
https://www.amazon.com/Fiber-Fueled-Plant-Based-Optimizing-Microbiome/dp/059308456X
It's the same advice you find on most microbiome podcasts/lectures: avoid processed junk, eat a diverse range of plants.
Gut issues can definitely be a contributing factor for anxiety/depression. As another user noted, serotonin is produced by the gut microbiome. Gut microbes also produce many of the nutrients we need day to day, such as B vitamins (necessary for energy and immune function), keep our immune function in check, and preserve the gut lining.
I've been trying to follow Joel Greene's Immunity Code out of curiosity ~~and desperation~~. He argues that it's important to rebuild the microbiome in stages to encourage growth of the whole ecosystem. His emphasis is on prebiotics (pulp free orange juice, apple peel, human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), and red phenol powder) in a prescribed order over time to build up Akkermansia first, then the Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus to promote cross feeding reactions.
I'd recommend looking into this approach and weighing his views on probiotics. Just be warned - the book itself looks like it skipped proofreading and editing. It's riddled with typos, internally inconsistent, and disorganized. But there's nuggets of information that can be actionable - so worth a shot.
I've been in a similar situation, having done that song and dance twice (and soon to be three times) so far this year.
I ended up trying to follow Joel Greene's Immunity Code which has a systematic system for building back and healing a depleted microbiome from the ground up (starting with different probiotic fibres). The book reads like it was never proof read, but I feel like the systematic approach makes some sense.
Thanks for the insights! I’m looking at a Probiotic-10 25B (https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Probiotic-10-Billion-Veg-Capsules/dp/B002S1U7RU) to start with.
But I’d look up your Histamimx as I have become very sensitive and intolerant to a lot of food I eat!!! More so things I apply on my face.
So do u reckon I need to find supplements with diamine oxidase? First time I’m Hearing about it, thanks To u!
Not sure if the information is valid, but I heard good things about this book:
Nutrient Power: Heal Your Biochemistry and Heal Your Brain https://www.amazon.com/dp/1626361282/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_huGlFbTTS54R5
See if your library has it.
There are free copies online if you look.
Also google how to heal your gut. Look into fasting and elimination diets. Eating prebiotic and probiotic foods. Staying away from lectins might also help you.

Who knows if any of this will work for you, but it is worth a try.
I have very similar issues to you and bad acne that is worse when my constipation is worse. I do the same as you, kefir helped a lot in the first 2 months however no further improvement. I am also making bone broth with marrow bones from the butcher and just bought this from Amazon...Restore, 16 fl oz - Restore4Life https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01NAJ0JIO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_kTMUzbZSQ2FFQ insanely expensive but I read others that had miraculous results and I'm pretty desperate so I'll give it a go. Magnesium does help but I need quite a big dose which I'm a bit reluctant to take
