This probably isn't related but I thought I'd share anyway. My cat has always intermittently vomited. Sometimes once a month, other times several times a month.

I recently started using a deshedding brush like this (not a slicker brush, those barely remove any hair), and she's stopped her vomiting by around 90%. She's a slightly longer haired cat so I think she was swallowing lots of hair.
