I saw this one mentioned a couple times: https://www.amazon.ca/INNOGLOW-Motorcycle-Detachable-Passenger-Sportster/dp/B07F1N78WT/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=sissy+bar&qid=1622642541&sprefix=sissy&sr=8-4
If you look at the pics from the reviews, you can see it's pretty long, and definitely not the most 'quality' looking piece. Cheap though!
Well aftermarket mirrors for sale list compatibility between 2017-2021 300/500 models so I would say yes. (Except the real old 250s,450)
Also probably should pick up plugs. The adapter is where your current mirrors will go, these plugs plug the threads on your bike where your mirrors are currently attached imo go with m10 unthreaded version.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0892C8FLH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_5GBCRACQ9W0MDYSJ2AHZ?psc=1
It's pretty much your standard swingarm bag, left side only. I got it from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S5KD55N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I didn't realize it would cover up the mounting place for the left passenger foot peg. If I decide I want a passenger seat I'll just move the bag to the front fork. I wanted the bag mainly to hold my helmet lock.
For bar end mirrors, you’re going to have to drill the bar end weights on the stock bars. Alternatively, you can use these adapters to flip the mirrors.
LED headlight, you can drop in a 5 3/4 led headlight from Amazon. You’re gonna have to modify it a little bit by bending some parts to make it fit, but honestly it’s not that bad. You also need self tapping screws to screw it in place.
You can buy this relay fits under the tank.
I love my HRP super comfort seat. I’ve had it for over 35k miles and love it. No complaints.
I use Venom on my wife's Rebel 500. Works fine, cheap at Amazon - just under $70 for the pair of front and rear: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0077T23IO
Just under $50 for the rear by itself. Right now the bike is up on both stands for the winter.
I just went through trying to find answers to the same questions. I'm 100kg (220lbs) which is beyond what the max preload on the stock spring is designed to handle. Smooth roads were fine, but I'd bottom the shock on sharp edged bumps. I spent a fair bit of time trying to find the spring rate to just do a spring swap. No one seems to have the numbers. After a lot of research I decided to go for a knock off of the ohlins piggyback shock available on amazon or ebay https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07GR2D3V3/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_2S.aDbNEPHASE
It is a knock off, but after watching a tear down, it seems to be of acceptable quality for 1/6 the price. The stock shock is 298mm eye to eye. I replaced it with 320mm eye to eye. Since I was replacing it anyway, why not add a bit of travel? The new shock has way more preload adjustment on the spring as well as a piggyback gas assist. I set it up last night and my back road morning commute today was noticeably smoother. As it came, the shock was way too soft, I ended up adjusting it about halfway through the preload range and most of the way for the gas assist to be properly set up for my weight. There is still lots of room to go stiffer, if you need it.
My only issue is that the bushings that came with the shocks were about 1/2 mm too small for the mounting points on the bike. I have a small benchtop lathe and increased the internal diameter to fit. Otherwise, you'll have to track down 14mm id bushings. (1/2" is close, but not close enough).
I believe that the shocks I purchased were rated for a max load of 200kg. The actual load they see is tough to figure out as weight is distributed between front and rear, but not evenly, and it changes with acceleration and braking. These shocks, with proper sag for my weight were roughly in the middle of the preload adjustment, so there is room to either side.

Yes I ordered a seat from them. And everything went smooth. Shipping took a little long but nothing crazy since its overseas. The seat is great quality and for a good price.
Also I ordered my sissy bar from Amazon if that's something you'd rather do. Currently its unavailable but if you search for that type elsewhere you might get lucky.
Thanks! Still waiting for my vans grips to ship
I used this from amazon
The bolts it came with snapped but I bought some hex key head ones from home Depot, which I recommend. I think the they were 10 mm, but you should get those bolts before trying to install anything
Here's what I do.
Last tank of gas, use extra fuel stabilizer/antioxidant (if you don't have ethanol in your fuel, you can probably skip this step.
Change the oil.
Run the tank/fuel system/engine dry. Draining the tank then running it until it quits if I can.
Clean/Oil/Lube everything. Chain too.
Disconnect the battery. If I can, put a trickle charger/desulfator on it. https://www.amazon.com/MOTOPOWER-MP00205C-Automatic-Battery-Maintainer/dp/B07PG6RXLN or similar. If not, I run a desulfator on the battery when I pull it out of storage.
That pretty much does it. With the motorcycles I'll throw a sheet or cover over it. Can't think of anything else.

I have a 500 and it'll run down the highway at speeds I'm not interested in riding at. I imagine the 300 will do the same, just not with the same acceleration. (70+ mph)
I went through your recent post history, and I'm going to take a couple guesses. Before you go look at a 300, you might want to take a look at something like https://www.amazon.com/X-PRO-Lifan-Motorcycle-KPR-200/dp/B098DJ7QX3
You'll probably spend less, and get a much better bike. My son just bought an KPM, and I'm amazed at how good the bike seems to be. It's not a Honda, but it seems to be a solid bike. I hopped on it and was at 70 before I knew it, and I was at half throttle. Put another person on there and I'm sure you'd be quite comfortable at regular road speeds. You can look at youtube's with people testing the Lifan LPR/LPM 0-60.

And I just flipped them upside down and I can give a lil tutorial unless you already know how the mirrors work. Took me a while to figure it out honestly.
The color is what caught my eye when I first saw the bike. I love the blue.
I personally think I have better visibility with the mirrors flipped. With the mirrors on top I felt like I was having to look around my arms and shoulders. With them flipped under the bars there is a clear view behind me. It does limit my steering a tiny bit. And I mean tiny. You lose half an inch of steering on each side unless you hit the tank with the mirrors. This has not caused any issues for me. I did have to spend about $18 on additional parts to flip them. I will link what I bought below. Also, if you message me I can take close up pictures of my setup and show you what I did.

Thanks for the recommendations! Are these the saddle bag mounts on your bike: Rebel mounts? I'm looking at the Corbin Gun fighter seat as an option currently. I have some saddle bags from a different bike I'm planning on using if they aren't to large.
There's a luggage rack on the back of my sissy bar I can strap some camping gear or a larger bag to. I also have a back pack I typically wear when I go on a ride. You can't tell in my Pic but there is a Rokform mount on my handlebars.
Helmet I have is a Ruroc Atlas 2.0 with a Sena 20s in the helmet as well. Though i've seen where people recommend wearing earplugs for long interstate rides.

SYLVANIA 9003/H4 XtraVision Halogen Headlight Bulb Amazon
This is the one I got on my 300 because the stock one sucks. So worth the upgrade as before my headlight was useless in illuminating the road infront of me.
The size of the bulb you need is H4/9003. They’re the same just different naming scheme.
They are tied on, I interlooped the straps into a saddle luggage bar and put a new shoe string that’s longer and thicker.
1 ) saddle bags o
2)case carrier: rails underneath top bags
The locknut has a notch on one side. If you can find a small bracket wrench (the crescent shape with a single tooth at the end), that should do the trick without damage. The alternative is vice grip and cloth, which may result is scuffing.
They're cheap to replace: https://www.amazon.com/FLYPIG-Universal-Black-Metric-Adjuster/dp/B01N9SSEDL
I have had my Rebel 500 for about 1.5 years. The seat is not comfortable but I went the low-cost route with a seat cover from Amazon. Works very well and is comfortable.

Anti-vibration handlebar riser like https://www.amazon.com/Rox-Speed-FX-Anti-Vibration-Handlebar/dp/B002LGPXBC
(I have no idea if those fit it'e just an example)
They all pretty much the same, it mounts your handlebar on rubber to smooth out vibration. They work really well on single cylinder engines.
And also probably get better hand grips, thicker softer rubber grips to help eat those vibrations.
Yup, cardboard will totally work.
If you open the tank, and it's not splashing around (when upright) in the 'overspill area', you can get an empty (and dry) water bottle filled with fuel and top it off.
Better still, just get one of these and do the same thing: https://www.amazon.ca/Primus-Fuel-Bottle-Childproof-Cap/dp/B01E7CZ1R8/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3LSISB8KPSHIX&dchild=1&keywords=motorcycle+fuel+bottle&qid=1612974936&sprefix=motorcycle+fuel%2Caps%2C180&sr=8-4
Always good to have these floating around for any long trips anyway.
Whatever was cheapest on Amazon lol. Just search 1inch handlebar mirror adapters and you’ll find a few.
This is what I have used:

Was looking at the same bag from Honda Canada and a lot of other bags. I figured what I needed out of a bag and went with another direction I’m very excited with.
Bought this bag with tons of mole style fastening points
...And a fender luggage rack. All in, under $200 and I get a water resistant knapsack I can take around with me.
I grabbed this swingarm bag that was dirt cheap specifically so I wouldn't feel bad about stuffing it into the closet once I got some proper bags. If you're in the same boat as me, I hope that link helps.

It's pretty cheap but it's all metal. I find it to be good and super secure even if not the fastest to use. Do yourself a favor and locktite the screw that secures it to the handlebar though. Lots of vibrations in the handlebar.
I bought some blanks from amazon and had a local locksmith make the cuts for $4/key.
Keys: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RQ6YW8B/
Took the locksmith about 4 minutes.
I contacted all the locksmiths in my area, told them I already had blanks and just needed them cut. Told them I was more than happy to bring my title with VIN to prove I owned the bike. Half said they could/would do it, the other half said they couldn't/wouldn't. Went with the one that was most willing to work with me to work out a time to meet.
Don’t have them installed yet... so can’t recommend them. But here is the link:

I'll chime in on the headlight here too. Ive had my 300 for two weeks and have wanted to do these exact same mods too haha. Go LED, so much easier and I promise it'll be as bright as you're looking for. I found this via a guy who does Rebel 300 mods on YouTube. You will even see his review on the Amazon product page I linked. Make sure and get the H4. Comes with two, surprisingly, for $40. ^^^I'm ^^^a ^^^bot ^^^and ^^^this ^^^action ^^^was ^^^preformed ^^^automatically.
The stock mirrors were too small for me and I had to squish my shoulders in to really see anything. These are from amazon amazon mirrors They’re okay, albeit the bike vibrations do transmit through pretty strongly, so making out detail is rough, and they’re not counter threaded so the adapters come off, and they spin normal loose/tight. They’re alright at best and I may replace them at some point, but they were cheap and they get the job done.
The only the complaint about the backrest/luggage is that the extra bolt coming in on the pillion area does hit the seat material some and it will definitely rip it over time. I need to get some of those little rubber covers for the bolt ends like the ones that come with the ram mounts.
I use Honda chain cleaner and lube, and use a $40 swing arm paddle lift I got on amazon
also, cleaning your chain is doable without lifting the rear wheel, you just gotta get a little creative
I guess it’s hard to tell , but it’s not a seat exactly , it’s just an air seat cushion I found on amazon. Didn’t really wanna spend $300 on a new seat. Here’s the link for it , so far it’s pretty nice.

I later swapped them for more expensive blinkers unfortunately... check my post history two pictures back if you want to see what they look like.
Gotchas:
I was under the assumption the lights would look like a solid strip. It's hard to tell in pictures, but you can see each individual LED very well. I didn't really like that look. I didn't mind it for the blinkers, but didn't like the running light. Not too big of a deal because you can just cut the running light wire.
there is 3M tape on the back, mine was old or something it would barely hold on. It started to peel off and I had to add some of my own tape after a couple days
they come with zip ties as an extra mechanism to secure them. That was great for one of them since the 3M didn't work. On the other one, the zip tie was attached to it crooked and when I started to tighten it, it snapped in half. I had to jerry-rig my own zip tie system.
Your blinkers will blink fast since the LEDs have lower resistance. You can fix it by getting a new relay, I haven't done this yet but plan on it.
Other than that, they worked and were brighter than I thought. Hope this helps!
