Yep, but you'll need two containers - one large one, or your "pitcher", and one container for cooling your milk. You can mix milk from different pumping sessions but only once they are the same temperature. So you would pump, put the fresh milk into your cooling container, and move it into the big container once it is at fridge temp.
I use this glass blender bottle as my "pitcher". It has a great pour spout!
Since your baby was 6 weeks early, a lot of the hacks like storing pump parts in the fridge should probably be run by your pediatrician.
As for storage, I store in mason jars. I have one for chilling the milk and one for storing cold milk. When I pump, I pour into the chilling jar and once cold, that gets swirled to reincorporate the fat and then poured into the cold storage jar. I got some easy pour lids from Amazon and use the red top for chilling and the blue top for cold. At the end of the day, these run through the dishwasher on sanitize mode and the spare set is ready to go for the morning.
I bought these for the same reason. I use the small one to pour the pumped milk into and a larger one for the cold milk. They have spouts and a cover. The lids are spill proof but not leak proof. But if you’re just in your home they’re perfect.
I have a Spectra too. We bought these: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-AVENT-Breast-Storage-10/dp/B00PF841GQ?ref_=ast_sto_dp - which have been great for milk storage in the fridge and limiting the number of dishes to some extent. You get 10 cups plus lids, and 2 adapters so you can pump directly into the cups. I'd also rec getting some extra pump parts. Maymom on Amazon seems to be the way to go from a cost perspective. The Spectra parts are pricey.
Good luck to you and your LO!
Hey there! My LC recommended flange inserts! Check out these from Maymom off Amazon. I like the maymom stuff a lot for my spectra, and it says these are compatible with medela: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07DNYBX8K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_RS85851JHC9RP6E9RJMJ
Or, if you do want the full flange, these should work: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07W8G4113/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZSDR0FWGN5AMAMFY2WTE
I use this packit cooler bag to bring 4-4oz avent bottles and a blender bottle filled with milk to daycare. It seems to still be cold whenever I get it back from daycare but its unclear if they pop it into the freezer/frig after I give it to them.

I have tried the one you use. I felt that they hold the flanges awkwardly for me. I love this bra 👆🏼. Not sure if you can wear it all day but it helps to hold up the bottle just right.
I have the boon warmer after I tried the Phillips avent and the baby’s brew and like it much better than both. Avent I felt was also inconsistent and didn’t have an auto off or timer. Baby’s brew looked cool and was cool in concept but took 10-15 minutes minimum and was expensive.

These things plus their baby motion flanges changed my whole pumping world!
I am large chested and could not sit comfortably while pumping until I got these. I use them for all my pumps but have slept/napped with them too. Depending on your chest size, sleep position and how fast you can pump you might have a little milk pooling when you sleep. I do because I have a stupidly slow letdown. However, it still works great!
It is annoying to clean the tubing I got these NG tube cleaners. they are a bit of a pain to clean tbh. Worth it to me though. I absolutely love these things.
ETA: I bought the gen 1 ones first because they were only 10$ but quickly upgraded to gen 2. The tubing is wider and easier to clean. Plus they added a lip which makes it easier to detach them.
I got these to put in my 24mm flanges and haven’t had an issue since. My nipples were struggling before

My supply didnt get fully established till 11 weeks so you still got time. I also take sunflower seed oil to prevent clogs and had to play with setting on the pump. Turns out i got nipples of steal and have to be on the highest settings. Also make sure you have the right size flanges and replace the duckbills and back-flow protector each month.
I hope that helps. And good luck. And if nothing works its okay. You are doing what you can and thats all that matters and formula never hurt anyone.
You can get a portable freezer cooler with a power cable that works in your car (and the one I got has one that works on a wall charger too). This way, excess is stored safely and can be easily transported between car and hotel rooms. And no replacing the ice all week.
Here is the one I have

If people can see your nipples, just embrace it. They’re natural. If people have a problem, it’s their problem, not yours. But it takes a long time to get used to this point of view.
I exclusively pump with a Baby Buddha and hacked Symphony parts that I got in the hospital. I never used the flanges it came with either because I need 27mm ones and it only came with 24mm. I’ve seen other people say it took their body a few days to adjust to a new pump, this could be your problem. Also make sure you’re using some kind of backflow protector with the hacked Medela parts if you aren’t already, I use these to stop the milk from getting into the tubes. I’ve flooded the protectors a few times, definitely worth the money to protect your pump from liquid.
LaVie makes a pump strap bra that is totally Velcro so it should be one size fits all, maybe that would work for you?
Here’s a 22mm flange on amazon

I use 2 wide mouth mason jars. One for cooling and one for already chilled. I got some easy pour lids on Amazon. I use the red lid for cooling and the blue lid for already chilled. They come in a 4 pack, which makes it easy to rotate through the dishwasher
The right size shield is important, but you may just have vasospasms anyways. I use pumping pals and have them, had them with regular soectra shields and was sized by an LC at spectra.
Have you tried the green pumpin pals? Honestly what I would do is get coushins for your shields and try using them with the 24 mm. This was recommended to me by the spectra lc. Or try a 23 mm flange but I'm honestly just guessing.
You can get brewer’s yeast in pill form from Amazon. I take three pills three times a day.
The entire backpack is an insulated cooler. I have the spectra which I place up top and the bottom I can fit 6 of the 4 oz avent bottles and one large rectangle freezer pack and one can freezer pack. I put my pumping bottles and flanges in this dry bag. Keeps everything cold for my 12-14 hour shifts!!
Edit: I bought maymom bottle caps. So I don’t have the extra bulk of the nipple on the bottles
This is great! I haven’t really had a problem with my Rumina Pumping Bra, but I have small boobies, so this is definitely something I haven’t well researched.
I use the rumina pumping and nursing bra. Got it on Amazon. It works for me pumping and I wear it all day and all night currently. I got an XL ( before pregnancy was a 34 C/D) and I like it because the band around the ribs is a bit loose but not to the point where I am unsupported and the cups are big enough that it works for pumping but it's not too tight.

So I've learned that when you order, you should submit a question to the supplier first and they'll send an extra when the product ships. But it's just not worth it for them to pay for shipping on just a flange...oops. So If you're like me and didn't do this then best thing to do is buy these puppies:

Thanks for sharing! I have a Spectra as well and have been considering the Baby Buddha for more freedom but can't seem to pull the trigger because of the price. I just might try the Bella, is this the model you have?

So far, so good!
I do put the more sensitive pump parts on the top shelf, a little further from the direct heat.
I don’t own this one, but I’m considering buying it as a back-up/travel pump to my Spectra. I’ve seen it reviewed by a lot of EP people on YouTube and Instagram. I think the main complaint is that it is too strong, but I see the same thing said for the Baby Buddha.
You can buy a symphony connector on amazon and then just use duckbills. I haven’t replaced my flanges - don’t think you have to unless they get damaged - but I could be wrong.

I really like this one as it's no funky after taste, only one pill a couple times a day (or I would usually just take at night and once in the morning. ) already has sunflower lecithin in it( super helpful when I was getting cloggy) , and is a liquid capsul vs dry herb capsul.
While the Legendary brand is good too, I feel I got better results and money savings using mother love more milk morninga . I linked it.

I heard that you can also sterilize breast pump parts in the microwave using one of these sterilizer bags? You can reuse them 5x before tossing, so seems like it could be a good thing? When my baby got too big for the Boppy I bought this other pillow that’s was a bit larger and we still use it with her at 8 months. If that didn’t work then I pumped while she had tummy time. I gated an area with a mat and would have her doing tummy time and practice rolling and all sorts of stuff.

Season 9 is set to start filming soon. Only babies that may make an appearance would be Ocean (Lala) and/or Summer (Scheana) since Stassi/Beau and Jax/Brittany got fired.
Another thing I buy regularly from Costco is the Aussie Bites. They have all the good breastfeeding ingredients except brewer’s yeast so I take that in pill form three times a day. I get them from Amazon.

Unfortunately they have a slightly smaller duckbill valve than the standard spectra duckbills. The only place I can find a replacement that is for sure the right size, is Spectra's website (and of course, it's $15 for two valves).
Hey sorry for the slow reply - do you mean how to make the plugged spectra gold into a portable? I just bought a battery pack on Amazon that is widely recommended in pumping world. It comes with the connector and you just have to make sure to charge the battery pack now and then. I didn’t find a great way to attach it to the pump — I just carried them around together— but I know some people use adhesive Velcro strips. Here’s the battery pack:

This was my experience as well. I was getting clogged ducts every other day with the Medela pumps, plus the purely mechanical suction was wrecking my poor nipples, even on the lowest settings. I got the Spectra S1 out of desperation and it changed my entire pumping experience! The mix of suction and vibration really empties me fast.
Legendairy silicone cups and a "belt bag" makes the S1 fully hands free. It's bulky, but it works well for me. I wear the pump on my side or back and it allows me to do light cleaning and cooking throughout the day.
This is the belt bag I use.
I used this one when I traveled while breastfeeding. It can get heavy, but it does have the luggage sleeve so I loved it!

I use a haakaa on the opposite side I’m feeding to collect and then stored it in these containers for my husband to use. His “shift” starts at 5am so I typically get to sleep from the first feed around 2-3am until 8-9am. He only handles the one bottle a day right now and it has saved my sanity so far because we each get a solid 6 hours if possible. I’ve never had a desire to build up a stock in the freezer so I only collect until I had enough for the bottle (~4oz) then stop using the haakaa for the day.

It's hard to explain, but I just put this on over my clothes when I pump so I don't always have to wear a bulky pumping bra. I just unbutton my shirt or lift it up to expose my boobs and then put this around me on top of what I'm wearing. It's stretchy and allows you not to have to get undressed. I just keep it with my pump and use as needed. It's great for hands free and I haven't had any issues.

I use them with a spectra and these. You just stick the flanges in there.
DDD and I liked the Legendairy Collection Cups. I had some trouble with the connectors pinching but was able to reposition them. This was my favorite bra for those cups.
Get these https://www.amazon.com/LaVie-Lactation-Breastfeeding-Mastitis-Engorgement/dp/B07MZD5GVZ they help me out THE MOST and are so worth the spend.
For reference, I’m using them with my spectra S1, pumpables genie advance (with liquid kit flanges), and even my willow pump. They make a huge difference!
Which part are you referring to? The harmony is the manual pump, right? I’m also looking for replacement parts but I think I will just replace the whole thing. Someone sent me a link to these replacement parts but they don’t look like the right parts for the pump I have so maybe I have an older version. Hope this is what you are looking for.
I do! 1. Regular settings I guess? Use a sanitize option if you have one. 2. Yes, I have this Dishwasher basket which I load with bottle parts and the duckbills from my flanges. I line up the flanges and bottles on the top rack https://www.amazon.com/OXO-Tot-Dishwasher-Basket-Accessories/dp/B0771FFJ21/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=bottle+parts+dishwasher+basket&qid=1662040104&sprefix=bottle+parts%2Caps%2C68&sr=8-3 3. I make sure they're clean and occasionally run all the parts through the microwavable sanitizing bags but don't regularly hand wash any parts anymore. 4. I have 4 sets of parts. I use 2 sets per day. 1 overnight set and 1 set that I fridge hack for my other 3 pumps. Then switch.
Make him buy a freezer thermometer with an alarm.

I usually bring a separate bag for my pumping stuff, I love the Elvies or my motif Luna for travel. I like to store my milk directly into the bottles and I bring an extra cooler. Also helpful to have a medium size Tupperware just to have a little workspace to put stuff.

I opted for this and have seen a significant increase in what I pump while he’s at daycare in leas than a week.
Sleep is important but might be a challenge. Drink a lot of water. Do the best you can to eat nutritious food. I do oatmeal with walnuts, chia seeds, flax seed, sunflower kernel, pumpkin seed to get healthy fats in (and get the calories cuz I suck at eating when I get busy at work). A pump can make a difference. I get a lot more with my spectra than my Elvie. These may or may not help but they feel good while pumping (the warmth is nice imo)
So my first one was this one from Medela, and its ok. But I mostly pump into a 8oz bottles, and when they’re full, the bra doesn’t take the full weight very well, and it feels like the bottle is hanging from my nipples 🥴 So I use an old sports bra that I cut holes into for the flanges, and it works the best! The racerback helps take the weight of the full bottles.
Honestly the one I have is literally the one my parents used with me… but I also have this one from Frisher-Price at grandma’s and he doesn’t seem to care which one he’s in as long as someone is bouncing him.
Oddly enough, different colors of the Munchkin brushes have held up better than others for me. Like the blue one will shred within a few weeks but the gray one I had to pitch mostly because it had been a couple months.
I use this silicone set and I’m really happy with it. If I don’t rinse my stuff after using then I might have to use the tiny brush to get the spots off flanges but overall it works well.
This bra isn’t tight but still holds the flanges in well. I bought a few. They’re not super supportive but comfortable and work well for pumping hands free.
Shipping's almost double the price, but it's better than having to buy replacement parts once a week.
I found these on amazon though. They seem to be good as well, so might try them first
I like it better than the spectra s9! It’s awesome that you can “record” a program. It’s a stronger pump than the s9 and extremely portable. I love that it comes with a clip and a lanyard.
I will say that I was super impressed with the pumpables liquid shields. I had really high expectations for them. I went through the “fitting room” process and everything. Ultimately they made my nipples super sore even though I used coconut oil every time. I know a lot of people really love them, but I prefer to use the spectra flanges with breast shield inserts for a proper fit. Specifically these inserts.
Yes! It is this one. The first one I got didn’t work (I think that was a fluke considering the good reviews) and after talking with customer service I got a new one and it works great! I got at least three hours of pumping out of it with just half a charge.
I used to use liquid coconut oil. I use silicone flanges now, so I don't use a lubricant anymore, but before I'd use something like this.
Pump In Style With MaxFlow? Should just be these tubes. I normally just grab mine at my local Walmart, though.
I use a cheap pumping/nursing bra from Amazon with my silicone pumpin pals. I assemble all the flanges/pump parts and plug one side into the the tubing first. I completely unclip the bra, as if I were pulling it down to nurse, put the flange through the pump hole, suction it on, then clip that side of the bra. Repeat with the other side. Easy peasy. They take some getting to used to but I love my pumpin pals. I think the key with the bra is getting one like this momcozy one that can clip down all the way. I’ve tried the kindred bravely pumping bra and I don’t like it as much.
I am also replacing my spectra with baby Buddha. Can these Medela flanges fit on without extra parts? Mine liked Mam for a while, but then started refusing anything except for the disposable nipples that go on two ounce formula bottles. We were already using those to give him vitamin drops in a little milk. These will fit on any bottle with a standard opening, like Dr. Browns, or evenflo. Also, not truly disposable, we wash and reuse many times.
Also try side-lying feeding. You basically lay baby on their side with their head elevated. In your lap works great when they are smaller. I used a Boppy lounger when he got bigger (before they were recalled). It was the only way mine could drink without gagging. https://www.feedeatspeak.co.uk/blog/2018/8/14/dummy-blog?format=amp

This is what I have been using for about a month now. So far I love it except one issue I have is it's kind of squeaky sometimes. But most of the time it isn't. I pump about 4 hours a day. The charge is good. I had to buy the 21mm flanges but they fit comfortably now. Very portable. They will spill if you lean too far forward. But I take care of baby while pumping and haven't spilled for a few weeks now. I can pick up, change, play, feed, they're quiet enough he can sleep in my arms while pumping too. You can tell they're cheaper but honestly I think it was well worth the money. I sent the link for the single and bought two because for some reason that was cheaper than buying the set. Idk. Like I said. I've only had them a month now but so far I do love them. I can even drive and pump. It's a real game changer.
I only used it for day trips out of town and never really ran it all the way down between recharges.
Loved this one from Amazon. Pump and BF used through 2 kids was by far my fav
Might be the only one but kindred bravely did not hold my flanges in place well
Controversial take here but my fave pumping bra situation right now has been this Amazon bra that I cut 1.5” holes in over my nipples. It’s stretchy enough that I can squeeze a pump flange in and it stays secure, and they are really soft and comfortable. I haven’t liked any of the other available ones including Kindred Bravely (too thick and bulky and hard) and Momcozy (hard unbreathable fabric) and Hofish (just cheap)

There is a specific style of nursing top that I've found works really well for pumping (Ekouaer 3-pack Nursing Tops). It's hard to describe, but once my flanges are situated, the shirt hides everything very well. I just wear something like the Kindred Bravely Pumping Bra underneath it.
Ouch! When I beat up my nipples early on, the things that saved me were alternating heat/cold (heat packs while pumping were nice) and making sure to use plenty of lubrication in the flanges (coconut oil has been my go-to). Between pumps, I would try to let things air out a little by just wandering around the house topless. If you can't wander around topless, something like the Milkies Milk Savers can be helpful to give your nipples some air and keep fabric off of them while still being clothed. These are hard plastic but there are other brands that do softer silicone. For your next couple of pumps, I'd try a lower suction level. I've accidentally done a few pumps staying in "massage mode" and been surprised that I got decent output, it just took a little longer.
I hope you heal quickly!
If not using collection cups, this worked great for me:
Used it on a recent bachelorette party and it was perfect. Pumped on a plane, in a restaurant, on a party bus - great coverage. it’s cute, and has many purposes 🙂
I just bought one of these (link below) and pump in the car. Definitely get the pump part wipes and wet bags to keep your parts in.

It’s all I use now - Wearable Breast Pump, HAUTURE Electric Breast Pump, Hands Free & Low Noise Portable Breast Pump with 3 Modes, 9 Levels, Memory Function - 27 mm Default/ 24 mm Flange https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09P58PFRR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QN6F72Z5NDTPE4K2PN11
Is it just a power struggle? Have you tried the supply cup tops for bottles to ease the transition a bit? I Loath washing bottle nipples, so I hear the transition completely, but maybe find a way to meet her in the middle if you’re losing the fight so far?
NUK Active Cup, 10 Oz, 1-Pack, Colors may vary https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0835ZTKHD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2TSVMFZ5PDNGTBWC5M8Y?psc=1 This is the type I’m thinking of
You will probably leak less when you regulate around 14 weeks, so there is some hope. I am not sure if you tried them but there are these: https://www.amazon.com/Milkies-Milk-Saver-Breast-Collector-Storage/dp/B007HYL9TS/ref=sr\_1\_1\_sspa?crid=2R22A6M7OUI2E&keywords=milkies&qid=1650221265&sprefix=milkies%2Caps%2C179&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A3KFUTM88PIIM7&s...
Another option is to get a set of collection cups like Freemies or Legendairy cups and just use them with just the breastshield/flange and the cup, without hooking up to a breastpump. Just let the milk collect in the cups and empty as needed (the Legendairy ones hold 8oz).
I don’t have the pump you do, and I’m not sure how popular/unpopular these are but I use the munchkin sterilizer bags (here). Baby is nearly 5 months old and I’ve EPed the whole time using spectra and never any sickness issues with baby! These are amazing for bottles, pacis, and my pump parts. 3 minutes in the microwave.

Hi, sorry no real advice.
If I just get the backflow protectors and cut the max flow tube, will the tube fit onto the back flow protectors?

Your needed flange size can change several times over the course of your breastfeeding journey, if you feel like something if off you should remeasure. I bought a nipple ruler from Amazon (here:Nipple Ruler), and I measured when things felt off. Over the course of my journey with 3 babies I used from size 15 all the way to 30.
I have this one: UV Light Sanitizer | Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer Household Sterilizer for Baby Bottle/Toys/Clothes/Toothbrush/Beauty Tools/Tableware/Phone https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085QKQ3HD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_85B1EXKCVJR159GQSA92?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It can hold 2 sets of spectra parts which is great for me. I also have the legendairy milk cups and it works great! (There’s an “auto” function that allows you to sterilize + dry, but so far I have not used that function on the legendairy cups because I’m worried about warping the parts) It’s also smaller and less expensive than the Wabi. I also use it to sterilize teething toys / pacifiers!
I got an Ameda Mya though insurance that doesn’t quite work for me. I need a pump that switches pump pattern like short-short-short-short-long-long. I found myself switching the mya between stimulate and express so much I needed something that did that automatically on a cycle so I found this on Amazon.

It’s a diaper caddy! Spectra fits in the large compartment, and a couple sets of flanges/bottles and my PumpStrap fit in the small parts. Only downside is it’s not machine washable. I WFH so I didn’t need a whole backpack/cooler thing this time around.
Also, maybe I need to take a steamer to it? the handles are a bit twisted from shipping still.
But overall it’s cute and will be functional when I hang up the flanges for good.

That pump didn’t work for me either. I got this one off of Amazon and it’s been amazing.

That being said I’d also recommend these cookies as they work wonders. I shared with another mom on here and she also saw results in a week.
I live in Florida and use this for trips. Used it on 5 hour flight and milk was still frozen.

I also use one of these for my commute home everyday but it doubles as an ice pack for the cooler on longer trips.

I used the pack it lunch bag. It’s made out of freezer packs. Toss in the freezer and it keeps milk cold all day. Used it with my first when I didn’t have access to a fridge at work. Doesn’t sweat and is cold enough to actively cool body temp milk. Plus, it’s great for lunches once you’re done with pumping. And tons of fun colors and different sizes too. I love my pump strap!
You have to buy a connector. It's essentially the one piece flange, but you had to add the flange part. Their flange goes into the adapter. It's in the "hacks" section of their website (took me forever to find the first time haha).
Get multiple sets of pump parts and do the fridge hack. I use the Sarah Wells Pumparoo Wet/Dry Bag to hold my pump parts and bags of milk when I’m at work. So with multiple sets and doing the fridge hack it’s way less dishes. Also my husband always does the bottle/pump parts dishes to take some of the burden off me. And I use the pumpin pals silicone flanges, I know they say not to fridge them but they still work fine for me. I believe the only difference with medela vs spectra pumpin pals is the spectra set comes with the collar adapter thing.
Medela also makes Quick Clean Wipes if you’d prefer something like that. I also never sanitize anything. Baby girl is 11 months old and never gotten sick soo 🤷🏼♀️
I use the BabyBuddha as my main pump now because of the portability and I love it’s letdown mode with 10 short pulls then 1 long pull. It’s not for everyone though. I also have the Spectra S2 and it’s a great pump. Honestly if portability isn’t issue since you’re WFH you should be fine with your Spectra. If it’s not working great I’d recommend looking into different/better flanges as that makes a big difference.
Oh also get ya some of these in case you have to clean your pump parts in the airport or something (ya never know if you're gonna get stuck somewhere! Better safe than sorry).
It has to be a soft sided cooler. I got the rtic one since it's like $100 instead of the $500 comparable yeti one. You'll want sealed ice packs and they have to be frozen to go through tsa. Like these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M06AQLF/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_23TDD8AYNSX3W3S2AXYH
Label your cooler with like masking tape and marker identifying it as breastmilk as that might make things easier going through tsa.
So I hate sleeping in anything other than a baggy t shirt so have been struggling with this because I find every pumping bra I own to be very uncomfortable after a few hours. I finally found some maternity/nursing bras that are really comfy and have been sleeping in those with an absorbent pad (I leak a lot) and then just slide that down over my shoulders and put a strapless/zip up pumping bra on, which I keep hanging over my beds headboard for easy access. It’s a little more work, but worth it for the comfort of not being in a regular bra 24/7.
I have the Larken X bra like someone mentioned above and not sure I would like to sleep in it - it’s a little too tight (but again, I hate sleeping in anything form fitting).
Nursing bra: CAKYE 3 Pack Maternity Nursing Sleep Bra Breastfeeding Cotton Bralette https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B077VFP6VN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_7AEPTAWQFNJ3AHBPSQNX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
So I initially got the spectra S1 pump with the normal flanges, which is battery operated and basically hands free when I wear my nursing/pumping bra. The flanges stick out pretty far and the pump can be a little bulky, so I ended up also buying the freemie independence with cups to have a less bulky option. To connect the freemie pump to the spectra flanges, I need to pull off the L shaped tube connectors of the freemie and use the plastic backflow protector of the spectra. If you don’t get/have the spectra pump you’ll need to buy a set of flanges with bottles, duckbill valves and backflow protectors (basically everything here) The pump, however, is not as strong. In terms of output my spectra with regular flanges>my spectra with freemie cups>freemie with either cup. I don’t really see a huge difference in output based on which cups I use, though normal cups definitely limit what I’m able to do while pumping much moreso than the freemie ones. It all really depends on what you’re looking for when you say you want a wearable pump. If you’re looking for mobility to do things like go to the bathroom, do dishes, feed baby, I’d go with a heavier duty battery pump and wearable cups (ie spectra with freemie cups). If you’re looking for discretion and portability then I’d say the freemie pump with the freemie cups is a better option though by no means the only or the best. The only reason I know how to use the freemie pump with the normal flanges is because I only have one set of the wearable cups and they’re a pain in the ass to wash lol. Also if you get normal flanges you definitely need a hands free pumping bra, otherwise you’re stuck holding your boobs every time you pump.
TL;dr because this got way long you can do it easily enough but why would you
This stuff tastes like BOOTY but it worked for increasing milk production for me when mine dropped off when I switched from the mini pill back to the combined birth control pill-
Lactation Supplement Breastfeeding Support Liquid - Breast Milk Supply Increase for Mothers, Organic Drops of Fenugreek Blessed Thistle Goats Rue Herb, 100% Natural 2X Absorption No Alcohol or Sugar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GZJY57Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_CK21A37WNRQF80PZHMD9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Your mileage may vary, some women don’t respond well to fenugreek, some find it makes their baby gassy. It worked for us with no side effects for her at 6mo old.
The Maymom inserts work great for me in both the Legendairy cups and the Spectra flanges. I have 24mm size flanges and use the 17mm inserts in both of them.
I use the silicone flange inserts like this. I’ve had to turn down my pump to half speed and manually express as I pump. It’s a work out, but it’s all that’s worked. Turning down the pump speed was SUPER helpful, my nips don’t swell nearly as much after.
I really enjoy my Momcozy wearable pumps. Great suction!
