Potential 20 Foot Storm Surge in NE Quadrant of Landfall
Don't know where you are exactly but depending on where the storm makes landfall, especially if it's to your south a bit and you are closer to the coast, your decision could prove fatal.
Consider Gulfport, MS during Katrina and how the structures several miles from the coast were obliterated because of the storm surge.
Even if this hits as a Cat 2 (unlikely), being a Cat 4 so far away for so long close to lunar high tide builds up a wall of water that can inundate one of the most vulnerable stretches of coast in the country.
