Here are the mirrors! I just took off the bar end weights and used the Allen screw that it had in there to attach these ones! Took me 5 minutes
Just some cheapy Amazon kemimoto mirrors link
And of course they are cheaper now.
I picked them up just to get a confirmed working option to replace the terrible stocks.
I'll definitely replace them at some point, but they do at least work better than the originals.
A bit thin. If you go to any motorcycle dealer you can buy one.
This one seems more appropriate. https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-50Pcs-Copper-Washer-Screw/dp/B07MLV78QX/ref=pd_aw_ic_dpcp_m_1_m_1?pd_rd_w=RyXEi&content-id=amzn1.sym.91111573-bb6c-4642-b463-174377f09734&pf_rd_p=91111573-bb6c-4642-b463-174377f09734&pf_rd_r=X67DE4DJTVCVB6...
if you get a battery tender they make an adaptor for the tails that let's you hook up usb. Something like this

Nothing special but they served the purpose and they are modular in that they can be above, straight out from, or below the bars.
Had them 3 seasons now and zero issues.
It’s those Amazon ones:

Pretty cheap but the quality is amazing doesn’t vibrator when I’m on high speed or idling. For installing you just take the stock bar end off which is held by a bolt and put the new bar end mirror on using the bolt that comes with it (It’s the same one as oem but longer)
Bike is 2021
I live pretty close to the Shenandoah National Park / George Washington National Forest, and have been perusing OpenStreetMaps for some nice fireroads and the like to take my svart 401 down. today was Howardsville Turnpike, which was in amazingly good shape. so i had to take a detour down a national park road on the way home too, which i think was maybe supposed to be closed. (there was a gate, but it was open).
I tried some of these first on the rear. They're okay, but not as bright/visible and replaced with the blaze pins. I'll say the blaze pins look nice, and were an easy install, they're still quite small and not what I would call wildly visible. That said, I live in a small town with a lot of bikers, cops haven't said boo. About the lights, or my borderline tucked plate.

Bar end mirrors I put on my Vit 401. Put them ram style under the bar. Looks so much better and finally can see the cars behind me instead of my shoulders
This is the one that I got. I got it for the LEDs. I had a trex tail tidy as well but it was just ugly. This one you have to drill a bracket to fit the mounting bolts on the bike out of sheet metal and adjust your rear spring so that it does not hit the rear wheel. The lights were nice since they didn't require a relay but I noticed not even a week after installing they had moisture in the the rears. https://www.amazon.com/Eliminator-Universal-Motorcycle-License-Bracket/dp/B08GC28M9G
It can be a bit of a pain. obviously you could overpay for the OEM’s, go the cheap route I went, or shell out for the RhinoMoto mounts that replace the handlebar weights with adapters that would allow most bar end mirrors to work… then pay even more for CRG’s. The 2020+ models have these annoying sunk in and glued anchors that you could forcibly break the glue and remove, or adapt.
I went with a cheapy set of Kemi Moto bar ends and re-used the OEM screw, but don’t like the limited stability it’s giving.
The mirrors seem to be holding fine, but if I tighten the right side too much, it grabs the throttle and holds it open.

No worries! I recommend buying a spray-paint trigger too. It will make it much easier to apply an even coat
Disconnected it but left it inside and used this : https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00DEID79G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yeah you can kind of see this on photo #3 — that big black Phillips screw just above the light switch is the cap. Without these it looks a little gnarly — exposed metal & threads https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081N9TFDP/
I put these on my 2018 Svartpilen after installing bar end mirrors:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Billet-Aluminium-Thread-Motorcycle-Blanking/dp/B015NJLHSG
Afterwards though I realised there's an official Husqvarna part for this which is a plastic plug (SKU: 21012942044):
I got the same brand as you at first, but had the same issues not being able to screw them in all the way.
Got these and they worked perfectly. M10 Yamaha Motorcycle Mirror Hole CNC Aluminum Blanking Plugs Screws Anodic Oxidation: 10mm: 2 x clockwise (10mm 1 x Right Thread + 1 x Left Thread) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07ZD28LV6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_G1S6FbSF825Y8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
2020 vit 401 btw.
The threads of the plugs I have on my 2020 401 are M10x1.25, with the reverse threads for the right side. I got this set off amazon, hope it helps? https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B082PRGGT3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yeah, I found a compact scissor lift that has a 1100lb weight rating (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QZCHB65/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but I wasn't sure if you could use that style of lift on the 701 since there is no frame or nice flat surface under the engine. I was hoping to store the bike off the ground on a stand this winter, but not sure if this will work.
Don’t know about the SM but the enduro was pretty difficult to find a lift for due to it weighing more than most dirt bikes and taller than most street bikes. I eventually bought one similar to this Goplus Motorcycle ATV Hydraulic Scissor Lift Jack Stand Quad Dirt Street Bike Hoist 1500 Lbs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AD2AY9G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_QXQQFbY3BSEAD
I would be concerned about the extra 125 pounds that SM probably has over straight dirt bikes in addition to your question of lifting by the engine case.
