I haven't seen a list like the one you're looking for so I started one of my own, though I then put the book down shortly thereafter. Maybe I'll pick it back up soon haha (forgot I had even subscribed to this subreddit) and if I do I'll update the list as I go.
there are a few readers guide books that really helped me see the connections. I recommend "Elegant Complexity" (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002H9VXQC/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1)
I used this as I went through and found it was very helpful: https://www.amazon.com/Elegant-Complexity-Foster-Wallaces-Infinite/dp/0976146533
YMMV
While I was reading the book, I read a companion piece called Elegant Complexity. It really helped me without spoiling things that hadn't happened yet.
"DFW's strong suit certainly wasn't in math"
Huh?https://www.salon.com/2012/11/27/david\_foster\_wallace\_mathematician/
He studied math and logic, his writing refers to arcane mathematical concepts, and he wrote a book about set theory:

you might like a reader's guide to read after each chapter to tie things together. I like https://www.amazon.com/Elegant-Complexity-Foster-Wallaces-Infinite/dp/0976146533

It helped me a lot.
The movie is based on an interview/ Road trip that the writer David Lipsky did http://www.amazon.com/Although-Course-You-Becoming-Yourself/dp/030759243X
I read the book after seeing the movie. It is also great and he goes into his history of addiction.
