I think these are the bo style that are manufactured in Hong Kong. I've never seen the blue kind before though. I've found the black garlic flavor some from a Hong Kong seller on Amazon though. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DQQ3RT8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_D1HHNVWAS3NJARSMEC5X?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
There is a straight noodle version from hong kong that I feel is much better, but it's a little more expensive. There are two serving per pack though. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DQQ3RT8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_ZTW0ZHH1PTWES3WJ94PX
Looks like it might be this one maybe
Over here in Austria we have something called „getrocknetes Suppengrün“ which translates to dried vegetables for soups. It’s made from dried celery root, carrots, leek and so on. Honestly it looks like food for a hamster but it’s close to the ramen-vegetables.
Well that's very interesting. Take a look at this ingredient list:
https://www.amazon.com/Ramyun-Noodle-Nong-Shim-Gourmet-Shim/dp/B000VQD4Z6
chef boyardee? besides the cans there are smaller microwavable containers with lids like you described. only red ones though iirc https://www.amazon.com/Chef-Boyardee-Microwavable-ULTIMATE-VARIETY/dp/B01H9J2NI6
Are you describing about this? They’re vacuum sealed and the packaging used to be see through. Myojo Udon
Or this brand Chikara Udon
This is some really good stuff too, just need to match it with a noodle you like https://www.amazon.com/Japanese-Tonkotsu-Ramen-Concentration-1-Pounds/dp/B082FLZLQ8?pd_rd_w=jZuwR&content-id=amzn1.sym.82699680-24ff-4624-ba55-0b66638fda7b&pf_rd_p=82699680-24ff-4624-ba55-0b66638fda7b&pf_rd_r=VHDHHKRV1RZSTXC127AK&p...
It's probably a supply-chain issue, I can't imagine them discontinuing it. There's not even any for scalper prices on ebay.
Hey, u/NutmegOnEverything, would the Nissin Demae noodles be a similar texture to Top Ramen? I'd compare them myself, but I only have a Top Ramen cup noodle right now.
I think the sesame oil has the mildest flavor, so you could maybe add the soy sauce to taste? There's also soy sauce powder if you were really determined to DIY it if the shortage continues.
I wouldn’t even bother with the noodles. This ramen seasoningis great. If you want to add something to it maybe pack a container of freeze dried vegetables as well.
No worries, sometimes we just need a new person to look at a problem. I like the idea of this microwave bamboo cooker-strainer-bowl set, but this one has a locking lid and that's a nice feature to have if you're super tired.
This is the only thing I could find. I don't remember, and couldn't find any kind of a ramen cup with noodles this shape.

These cold noodles are awesome. https://www.amazon.com/Paldo-korean-Bibim-myun-Noodle-instant/dp/B07FVF8HTG
I like to get it as cold as possible. Ice bath, and put the bowl and the sauce in the freezer. A little shaved ice with the noodles don't hurt either.
You can make something like this with basically any ramen. I think cold noodles taste better sweet, so some sugar works well.
I'm allergic to shellfish, so a little jealous of this one! Lime and chili are so good together.
Let me see if I can find the others.
There is a sweet and spicy version of the pancit canyon that comes in an orange package. It’s my favourite! It is a fabulous balance of sweet, spicy, salty, and umami flavours:
Lucky Me! Pancit Canton Instant Noodles Sweet & Spicy, 72 × 60 Gram, 4320 Grams https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B093831GLY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_ZW3G1A8PC143P3H9TQX4
The paldo brand jjajangmen is always my fave (https://www.amazon.com/Paldo-Jjajangmen-Chajang-Noodle-16-pack/dp/B00IZS7U4I) The samyang spicy jjajang noodles are delicious too if I want something spicy, but the paldo is more like the real thing.
Would you be allowed to have a pot like this? Salton MP1206 Multi-Pot Boils Upto 4-Cups of Water, White https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00BVOUN2Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_i_Z0N9YATWH68RD630EFAW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I had one in my form and it was great for cooking up noodles, boiling eggs (adjustable temps so you can achieve jammy yolks if that's your jam), and I used both instant ramen and dried noodles. Cooking veg in it was easy too.
Look for Asian bouillon powders like the knorr or lee kum kee chicken brands, which are shelf stable and will give you more of a neutral broth taste that you can kick up with miso paste, chili oils, etc.
It is so good! It's one of my favorites. You should try this mac and cheese ramen too:https://www.amazon.com/Ottogi-Cheese-Spaghetti-overseas-shipment/dp/B07MKWCXYG. It's not as spicy, but it's pretty good
Its a bit pricey, but I got it from Amazon: Japanese populer Ramen "ICHIRAN" instant noodles tonkotsu 5 meals(Japan Import) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077T7HC88/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_01OTFbKNAA621?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Not sure if my comment will get deleted if there's a link, but here you go, it's in Amazon! https://www.amazon.com/Nissin-Straight-Noodle-Instant-Tonkontsu/dp/B07DQQ3RT8/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2BWORL7LRV1NG&dchild=1&keywords=nissin+demae+black+garlic+oil+instant+ramen+noodles&qid=1601477145&sprefix=nissin+demae+%2Caps%2C379&sr=8-8
I got them form Amazon here. Not the cheapest ramen, but there are two servings per package, so they come out to about $2.75 per bowl.
