> Last I checked, the air fryer option is only available on the 6 quart model.
I have this 8 QT model which comes with an airfryer. It's fine. If you don't have an airfryer (like me), it is a nice way to experiment with the whole idea of airfrying.
Don't worry, you'll likely be able to recover from this.
I generally will add strong dish soap or detergent and boiled water to it, then let it sit covered overnight. If you need to go more drastic make a lye solution, but obviously that has additional risk.
After that I use a strong plastic scraper I like this one from my camping gear to get the bits off, then finish it off with something like barkeeper's best and a nylon scrubber.
I've been careless a number of times over the years and had lots of things burn to the bottom. It's always been salvageable
I have the IP Pro and the IP Pro Crisp, I am guessing the sensor on these newer products is too sensitive or something? Cause I have had issues cooking recipes which admittedly involve tomato paste and/or onions which others appear to have successfully cooked in the Duo models.
I finally gave up and did just what /u/PeanutButterSoda suggested: Pot in pot. I used cake pans (more clean up) and one of these (less clean up). I know people who have used glass containers as well, but I only have Pyrex and the manufacturer suggests not to use them in a pressure cooker :/.
I own this book, this was my first guide in to the Instant Pot and everything I made using it was excellent. After this, i just Google Instant Pot recipes. But the book was an excellent starting point.

If it's the same one, they also have it on Amazon in the product comparison section: https://www.amazon.com/Instant-Pot-Plus-60-Programmable/dp/B01NBKTPTS/
I can't tell the difference?!? Same quart capacity, same base functions (pressure, slow, rice, yogurt, etc).
