Hello! Firstly: please do not trust this company, they are known to be a scam company: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/toygameshop.com
Part of how I know this is because Lilac Bunny is long retired and going for a lot of money on secondhand sites, no stores online are still selling Lilac. Especially not for that price.
Secondly you can see the sizes listed on the official Jellycat website (https://www.jellycat.com) for the bunnies. They list the size in cm there. Large is smaller than huge by a significant amount: large is 36cm and huge is 51cm.
Fleurtations is known as an official Jellycat stockist actually. They're a "Jellycat Recommended" stockist. When I asked about a retired Jellycat, the official customer support even listed Fleurtations as a place to check for the plushie that I wanted to get. (they recommended Fleurtations, Temptation Gifts, Plush Paws, Jelly Express and Maison White for the record)
Fleurtations may not have a brick and mortar store, but that doesn't mean they're not trustworthy! I think that as long as you can find a good bunch of positive reviews for a store, there is no need to worry. Which Fleurtations does have!
In general, Jellycat fakeys aren't that common especially because their designs get changed a lot! The most common fakes I've seen are bashful bunnies, since they're a staple, and the laying down dragons. Those are for sale on Aliexpress and Wish, so if you're avoiding those you're probably good -- especially if you double check reviews for online shops. Official retailers are definitely recommended!
Hmm, while there are a majority of positive reviews there's still quite a lot of bad ones, (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/shoptiques.com?stars=1) so I wouldn't trust that one personally!
But Large Emile Elephant is definitely legit and you might still be able to find him for sale or on second-hand platforms.
If you are in the US and not opposed to buying from Amazon, they have the Medium size available! I purchased mine on Amazon from this same retailer and had no issues (I think at the time I wasn’t able to find any other stores that had them/didn’t know how to look for them Lol):

i got my linus out to have a think - the whiskers are thin chord so i’d try detangling by hand and pinning them straight for a while. do you have anything like this?. although i think the whiskers look SO CUTE shortened like that!
i have to say i am so in love with his heart nose too - what a gorgeous pic🥰🥰
Thank you so much for the detailed and insightful reply! The other three bunnies are definitely authentic. As for this one, it’s interesting that the Posy retired—that makes me wonder, although I’ve given three Posy bunnies to friends (pre-2019) and this one feels very similar. And the ear tag code is indeed BL4BBN. The batch number on the bottom tag is JCINC5197—I’ll see if I can find anything about that!
This bunny was from Hippo Tails on Amazon (Jellycat Blossom Posy Bunny Stuffed Animal, Medium, 12 inches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AGMIPT4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EE27DBJ637HCY5K336SS), and I’ve had good luck with that seller in the past. I did once receive an obvious counterfeit from a different Amazon seller though, when ordering a Bashful for a friend—the fur, shape, nose color, etc. were clearly different, so I can confirm that the bootleggers have infiltrated Amazon as well.
Thanks again for your detailed response!
I wash mine and brush them with a wire dog/cat brush like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Petface-Slicker-Brush-Dogs-Medium/dp/B00JN93PMO/ref=asc_df_B00JN93PMO/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=226613890277&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14580676844755877598&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&a... And then they’re back to normal
If you can’t find it then it’s probably not available anymore but it will come back in stock because I’ve seen it do that multiple times
